The Wind Chime

Please accept this little token.
I am sorry I forgot your birthday.
This little gift’s for you to open
To remind you, again, of that day.

Hang it where a breeze will blow
Try the garden or find a pine.
Relax on a blanket in the warmth below.
Be quiet and listen, for its delicate chime.
