burdened by cold and creeping chaos.

Darkness has fallen
cloaking the world in shadows
so mysterious
letting in chaos
to rule and conquer the night
until break of day
My mind,
a musician;
its own maestro,
and apprentice,
is trying to arrange
into a symphony,
the noise, & chaos
inside me.

infinity seemed elusive
breathing the dry desert
sage air together
thoughts of forever,
wandering alone
