Lightning

Lightning
is creative burst
inside a biological cloud
channeled by an ink rod
in which thunderbolts
never strikes twice
on every line

Pink Hyacinthus

Pink Hyacinthus
Dark green narrow-channeled leaves
Spikes of fragrant blooms

Springtime emerging
Always brings the memories
Of loving mother

Poetic Mouses Dilemma

poetic mouse channeled Coleridge
no one noticed
he channeled Poe
Ravens roosted next to his missive
unfortunately,
his muse Thoreau
would not let him
beat them off with a broom

The First Poet

doors and roses
horses laugh
mystery abounds
leaves whisper
you guide your spirit
on the alphabet,
just like the first poet

Music

Even though sad,
And off the edge.
My pain channeled.
My mind paused.
Became an irresistible muse.
Music of angels drove me.
I found myself with a rare elixir in my hand.
I was high on your words as dreamt of your kind touch.

The Story of Man

At rising dawn of man we were acquainted with the flame
Then our clockwork devices channeled nature's force made tame
But there is one more energy which flies in a realm higher
Once love is harnessed we shall have again discovered fire

Tiger, Tiger

TIGER, TIGER

Our only cat was
a serial killer.
First visit to vet
“Please do not
bring him back”.
Channeled the purr
of a cougar,
low growl
of a tiger.
Tolerated the dog.
Attacked sleeping
restless feet.
He still stalks
the gardens
of my mind.

Essence of Divinity

Intrinsic awareness channeled through time Impels the cognitive basic impulses incessant Intones the echoing rhythm of benign bliss Inside the emptiness of resonating perception. Invisible life force abhors vacuum pervasive Imbues the void with the essence of divinity.

The Editor

I shall write while I rest
amid the faint hues channeled
by a functioning heart bottled
to perfection during the tranquil
lessons a masterpiece unfolds
the infamous characters bonded
beyond the galleries of distant carny
and Gothic folklores tampered above
a shattered notion of writers block

Forward This To God

money, money, money !
a lot of money!
money for me, to be me !
sum money ! money, money !
let peoples prayers be channeled to mine!
all those who wish to be wealthy
want me to have money !
the world is waiting
for me to be wealthy.
money, money, money !
all those who prayers are heard
are praying for me to have money !

A Word From St Bartholomew

That which is given unto me from those highest
Is given unto thee in the right of man,
For those who follow the most holy of paths
Are protected by those of the most holy of ranks.
Never to be defied, never to be hurt, and never to be seen in the likes of evil.
A wanderer amongst stationary plagues,
A locust among flies

''Christinas' Gift''

Channeled love meant not be forsaken.
      Hence thine words forgotten.
Risk the tongue my anguished thoughts.
      Illusion,vision of mirage lay clear.
Still in movement, thy eyes deceive me.
      Touched skin,sight enhanced.
I felt a cold breeze on my neck.
Noticed change in temperature as it dropped.
Awakened by truth of life beyond death.

Poetry - For Surprise Me Contest

Paintings of word-pictures we can sometimes see;

Other times, pure pathos is offered poignantly.

Elucidation can be channeled most enchantingly

Through a poet’s pen to you and me!

Raining thoughts, poets plant them carefully,

Yielding the harvest of their soul - their poetry.

Channeling Seuss

Oh, the things we might write if we all channeled Seuss:
like streams of Foie Gras through a cannibal goose!
Even masters might gain, yes even the bard.
Cuz you’ve got to admit it: that blank verse is hard.
And thank goodness this doc was a Seuss, not a Geisel,
or our poems would struggle to include a weasel.
Yes, it’s so much more fun to bid you a good day
in a playfully, lyrical, Seussian way!

All From a Broken Pen

You could say spring was in the air
When his ballpoint pen flew apart
Arthur took charge of it's repair
So that made it a work of art!

Declaring that, he felt compelled
To write something down with it
Frowning his brow, with said pen held
He channeled his humor and wit

When she looked over his shoulder
Every thought he had petered out
She seemed surprised when he told her
Peter problems is what it's about!

Fate of the Pluot

You and I, we were unalike, embedded into the earth,
so far from each other.
My roots grew independently and strong, as yours,
grew to be smothered.
As time went on our stocks matured and grew,
to extend such a great distance.
Our roads trekked in contrasting directions,
that channeled us to coexistence.
Fate cannot be discouraged nor fought by mortals,
a lesson learned not forgot.
As different as an Apricot is to a Plum,
together we can make a Pluot.

Here I Am

*Still the photos of my own that I upload come up blurry here, but I submitted anyway. Poem inspired by photo.

I lift my head to the beauty above
With praise for all, sending love
Channeled through branches, an opening to sky
I feel my wings spread, ready to fly

And here I am, so small but with vision
To be entranced in a powerful mission
Residing within me, waiting to be shown
What I see is more beautiful than anything I own
