Ordering a 'Mustard-and-Catsup'
  I was ever-so-rudely refused

Not a happy camper at all ~

All Rise
When our waitress spilled the catsup
All over her Double-D cup
Mum said, "That's a treat
Your Dad yearns to meet;
His pecker's on the up-and-up!"...

The Egg
My three minute egg in boiling water,
Seventeen for hard-boiled, according to Julia,
Or fried in bacon grease for the trip to eternity
Two jaundiced eyes on my father's chipped plate,
Or butter for scrambled then cover 'em with catsup;
No resemblance here to the Faberge eggs
Covered with diamonds, rubies and pearls
For the pleasure of the Russian royal family....

Alter Ego: (There's Something About Nora)
She wouldn't want to bore ya,
but there's something about Nora.

Things physical, not audi
fly away from her body,

Fail to nail the counter,
hit the deck all around her--

In and out of bed. Still, There
Was Something About Nora....

Premium Member Breakfast Last Night
We shared a breakfast late last night-

while sun was shining neath the moon.

Ate cornflakes off a cob held tight;

spread hotcakes with iced syrup strewn.

Made scrambled eggs- sunny side up-

cold catsup sizzling on the top-

Then poured fresh brew from day-old cup

made sweeter by sour lemon drop.

Old Man At the Diner
Old Man At The Diner

He slaughters his hamburger steak
with a fork and a butter knife,
massacres ringlets of onions
again and again

thumps catsup all over
the bloody commingling,
then ever so slowly
peppers and salts

and reminds me of Hrebic,
whose wife, back
on the block of my youth,
sat all summer out on her stoop,

knees awry, one eye black,
the other turning gray,
sunning the great white hydrants
of her phlebitic legs.

Fertile Turtle Named Myrtle
head was potato
now a member of nato
cats with tomato
(catsup)

hurrah we just won
the greater glory of God
were Peter's peacocks

an operation
which had been called by putin
special military

will catch a big bass
instead of cutting grass
think that we will pass

with comfort and care
plane took off into midair
with some room to spare

terrible turtle
had found her to be fertile
whose name was myrtle

willing and able
to get elbows off table
by both mike and mable...
