4 am
fishing hole magic
I am with my daddy
catfish, bass and bluegills are calling our names
we are the only ones alive
Trying to catch a catfish
Can't catch a single one
Something to grab a stone
And poke it in the head
At last, I catch one.
Cold water music
pond nymphs skate soft chord ripples
fireflys flash dance
lily pad tables for two
Catfish play hooky from school
Catfish lies in mud.
He slithers through slimy swamp.
Ah! Breakfast is here!

Mint juleps in the sweet air
Catfish are jumping everywhere and
The Mississippi River is flowing
Fireflies serenading in the moonlight
Cautiously I wade
Through shallow waters at dawn
Minnows tickle me
My fishing hole waits for me
catfish jump with the sunrise
electric catfish
defend with power discharge
shock to capture prey

BLACK TEXAS TEA, NO FISH can SEE
We Want to KNOW what WE DONE to THEE
Charlie Tuna wants to STRIKE
Along with Catfish Mike
Though PROHIBITED by KING Of SEA
Catfish wears his straw
hat
sits on the front porch
cussing
He feeds along
the bottom of the creek
gathering what he can
for supper
Sings his song.
river catfish is startled by a splash
he dives down into the lake
hitting the natural springs
unaware he made this loud noise
with his enormous flipper of a tail

Corn breaded fried up catfish
Smoked corn on the cob
Tomato, mustard coleslaw
Fresh brewed, mint, sweet tea
Sweet potato pie
A country
Treat!
Fresh cornmeal battered catfish
Deep fried with corn and
Smoked potato and wheels of
Tomato’s served up
With sweet tea and mint
Marvelous
Thrill!
We did not even have to use hooks
Lake Red Haw had so many fish
Enough for hundreds to eat
Catfish as large as cars
Biggest fish ever
Stories galore
Vacation
Fishing
A
Apes ate apples
Bears bear babies
Cats catch catfish
Dogs digs ditches
such simple story
poem paints pictures
pathetic personal poem!
this is the simplest poem ever!
cabal cabbies cackling in the colorful cabaret
concealed conceited cadaver carousing cabbage day
carefree cantankerous canticle cleaning along the way
capsized catfish captain crooning as cabbies play
Brenda has a big bottom,
it causes quite a wake
as she swims toward me.
Soft girl steaming up to my woody
chuffing like a tugboat,
mouth as wide as a catfish.
Such things are not written of
nearly enough.
Brenda has a big bottom,
it causes quite a wake
as she swims toward me.
Soft girl steaming up to my election
chuffing like a tugboat,
mouth as wide as a catfish.
Such things are not written of
nearly enough.
Voodoo Chili Blues
Hendrix is in the house
Hear my train a’comin
We are rocking too hard to grouse
Let’s set this guitar on fire!
And sing the Catfish blues.
Time is precious to this artist.
So young! His life to lose!
Is a “catfish” a cat or a fish, let's get this straight
Haven't slept since hearing 'bout 'em at age eight
How about a doodle sack?
Yup! Bagpipes, how about that!
Stay tuned for more, there's no sign they'll abate
Brenda has a big bottom,
it causes quite a wake
as she swims toward me.
Soft girl steaming up to my ********
chuffing like a tugboat,
mouth as wide as a catfish.
Such things are not written of
nearly enough.
swimming in a lake
among bullfrogs and catfish
natural hot springs
in patches of cold water
a water snake shimmies past
swimming in pool
heavily chlorinated
reddening my eyes
I long for a cool pond
my own private lake in woods
