The Danville Anvil
There once was a blacksmith at Danville
Who made so much noise on his anvil
That the neighbors, one day,
Quietly hauled it away,
And bulldozed it into the landfill....

Bulldozer Man
You cut the rivers in half
bulldozed the banks edge
bristled the green trees
and threw florid ladies into the vetch
your old winkles
falling into shredded paper
your conversation not always edifying

Premium Member Faith
Faith alone accomplishes absolutely nothing,
unless your faith is put into action.
The only time I've ever seen faith move mountains
is when they were bulldozed by contractors prior to construction.
*
I will pay one million dollars to absolutely anyone
who with their faith can move Mt Everest into the Grand Canyon.

The Practice
I'm not thinking of her today.
Not mind-walking
somewhere at the edge England
or at the side of a field now bulldozed by time.

When not thinking of her I do converse with her
with this constant breathing I practice.

Many desire the unattainable,
but untimely death steals even that away.

My ghost holds its breath beneath the earth
far longer than it should....

Premium Member Animals Habitats Destroyed
forests, swamps, plains, oceans, meadows and even lakes
are being polluted, bulldozed and littered for goodness sakes
everything is being harvested or relinquished in human’s name
creatures are vanishing rapidly! is the environmentalist’s refrain.
animal habitats are carelessly dismissed or revamped; who can survive?
Eventually will skunks, whales fox, big cats, bees or geese still be alive?...

Breathing For Her
I am not thinking of her today.
She is dead, and I can’t think of the bones
somewhere at the edge England
or at the edge of a field
bulldozed by time.
Love keeps me alert though,
love of many people
known and unknown.
I do talk to her life
when not thinking of her
with this constant breathing I practice.
Many desire the unattainable,
but untimely death steals even that away.
I hope she once was a mirror of God
and I am not still following
a shattered image....

The Murmurs of My Heart
The murmurs of my heart silently screamed;
"love her not for she's a fierce dragon"
Yet the roar of my thoughts whispered;
"love is in the air"

As I got dragged by thousands thoughts
to the deeper crazy pit of sorrow
slowly drowning my thoughts I had to follow
never was I aware,
foolishly slapping my fragile heart

Till that noon,
when the night hid behind the moon,
beyond repair my soul bulldozed so soon,
11th hour regrets
for not listening to my MURMURING HEART...

Peaches In the Desert?
Of all things to try
Oh heck, why not
An orchard in the desert
Is what we've got.

A coupla years ago
We bought some land
Bulldozed it free of sagebrush
Dug 100 holes by hand

A tub of water
On a tower high
Was how we watered
Hoses spread wide

Planted more trees
Pumped water from a canal
Laying more hoses
Buying another trowl

900 trees and growing
An orchard in the desert heat
This is where we'll retire
Tree ripened peaches to sell and eat.

So proud of my parents....
