The Murmurs of My Heart

The murmurs of my heart silently screamed;
"love her not for she's a fierce dragon"
Yet the roar of my thoughts whispered;
"love is in the air"

As I got dragged by thousands thoughts
to the deeper crazy pit of sorrow
slowly drowning my thoughts I had to follow
never was I aware,
foolishly slapping my fragile heart

Till that noon,
when the night hid behind the moon,
beyond repair my soul bulldozed so soon,
11th hour regrets
for not listening to my MURMURING HEART

I love this.So playful but yet tells a tale of sorrow. You have actually translated the dry Tswana humour into an English poem.I miss home, so thank you for sharing. Well done.
