Someone Was Telling Huge Porkie Pies
Peter purchased a cute 'micro pig'
Over time it grew ever so big!
It cannot be denied
That the seller had lied
If he’s caught he’ll end up in the brig!

The Country of Texas
Hear tell the state of Texas is freaking big
Almost the size of Canada, holy frig
Why not form your own country
Have your own funny money
With The Wulfman riding herd from the brig

Yabber Yabber Yabber
yabber yabber yabber
I am only half listening
brig brig brig
listening less now
She is nine
Does not notice
It is all about how many words she can speak.
She is not good at reading people's expressions
I look up, relieved,
that she has not stopped
and she still feels validated
Which is borderline ridiculous
if you know people at all...

Salty Walty
Old Salt
Was Walt
Possessed
On chest
Tattoo
Of Lou
Each port
Had snort
Much booze
Blew fuse
Got tight
Had fight
Some beef
With Chief
Unwise
Blacked eyes
Uptight
Lost fight
For prank
Lost rank
For swig*
In brig
*One interpretation of swig is - strike heavily with fist!

Hallucination Heartbreak
Tip, tap,
toes rowing
across the blue
surface of the sea-
breezes play with my hair,
tangly messes of blond rope
form for the salty air to climb-
Sun shining bright on his throne of Noon
[The moon in her brig, in chains, wrought with stars]
My skin, dry with erosion from
wind blowing to my white gown; Sails-
In blue hallucinations,
In southwest oceans,
I come to you,
I see you,
In dreams....

Spontaneous Write
I won't revise
this
I will try to
hit the nail
with one blow of
my hammer
Poetry can pour out
like a powerful rain
if you let
your spirit dance
Even though we
may have to exert some
effort
We should never forget
the image of the
rain falling down
bringing nourishment
to parched lands
We should brig
nourishment to
parched lives
with our heartfelt poems...

A Bet Made - Decuain
This time in June as days are fair and bright,
Brig Copenhagen takes her leave from coast
to sail on Java's way for copra white.
Bet's made with schooner Captain Jake that most
in Brigantine returns first, aye, our boast.
The sheets are filling wide with breeze this day,
to gentle Zephyr we lift high a toast.
Swells go past oak boards showing gleams of spray
Toward Java we run free without delay
Good time lest blame foul weather moves our way....
