Just Shut Up
I have learned over the years
to just shut up and free the peace,
but, some people just keep on talking,
bottle up peace, and free wrath instead....

A Never Told Confession
Unlike many, I found ways to transcend
I attempt to show you my ways
to put your sorrows to an end.
However, I am drained with this trend.
Do you ever question if I pretend?
I bottle up my uncertainties, hoping for amend.
I hope one day you’ll comprehend,
I desire a friend that will lend me a hand for a change.

Let Me Clear My Mind
Let me clear my mind
from the issues of life

Let me clear my mind
from the trials and tribulations that pass my way

Let me clear my mind
from false realities and the worlds perceptions

Let me clear my mind
from self hatred, and bottle up pride

Let me clear my mind
from the wrong points of view

Let me clear my mind
from all self imprisonment, in my own mind...

Simple Things
Life can be difficult
   but there are
ways to assuage the pain
  Take joy in simple things!
  A smile, a handshake, a heartfelt greeting
A glass of cool water - a tasty morsel
Knock down the barriers
   that bottle up joy
Look up and kiss the blue sky
Sweet rain will soon come
Flowers will soon rise up from the earth
Take joy in simple things
It is the path to freedom...

Premium Member Bottling Up Moments
There was never enough time with you,
so I decided to go back to 1970
and bottle up moments
that brought us laughter
and tears

proud moments, happy moments,
moments of togetherness
we shared in secret, when your hands touched.

excited moments, thrilling moments,
moments that no one else could understand
moments that could not ever be explained.

the moments that belong to only us...

Bottle Up the Pain
Azure treasures,heavy laden
guarded by a sweet mermaiden
underneath a coral reef

come and sacrifice your grief

It is worth a gold doubloon
to give up mourning after noon
it feels so good to stoke the pain
embers there inside your brain

are you willing to deny it?
If you are the sea will buy it.
seal it in a Mason jar
now throw it high
and just as far
as mortal man can fling his woes

to places only Neptune knows....

Premium Member With All My Thoughts of You
If I could capture a dew drop,
Sparkling in the sun
I would hand the light to you
While you are on your way
If I could bottle up the fragrance,
Of flowers in the spring,
Fresh from the blossoms
I would send it to you,
For sweet scents to remember
If I could keep the sky’s reflections,
On the beautiful lake I see,
To show you when you return
Just maybe, you would see
Where I’ve traveled too,
With all my thoughts of you

Laughter
Laughter is a balm to soothe
Whatever makes you ache
And those who would reject that thought
Are making a mistake.

Just spend an afternoon or eve
With friends from long ago
And reminisce until the giggles
Start to overflow.

For when you’re caught up having fun
The bad stuff slinks away,
Afraid to tamper with the joy
On obvious display.

If only we could bottle up
Those laughs for future use,
Then all the sadness lurking ‘round
Perhaps we could reduce....

What Do You See
What do people see when they look?
Do they see just the surface?
Or do they see what's beneath?
Can they see the hurt and pain that's been carried within?
Have they expierenced it?
Do they know what it's like not to be able to let it out?
Does any one know what it's like living with this guilt and repressed emotions?
Are these feelings from my doings?
Or are they from beyond my control?
Why is it feelings bottle up inside?
Do they even have a clue?
Or do they just judge?...
