Simple Things
Life can be difficult
but there are
ways to assuage the pain
Take joy in simple things!
A smile, a handshake, a heartfelt greeting
A glass of cool water - a tasty morsel
Knock down the barriers
that bottle up joy
Look up and kiss the blue sky
Sweet rain will soon come
Flowers will soon rise up from the earth
