Wind Bound
Brittle, till you crack,
Made of bone, you lack
Softness to survive,
Rigid as a rod,
Righteous as a god,
You’re not long alive.

Powdered bone to dust,
Blown with one good gust
Through the withered trees,
Flecks of boney grey,
You float far away
Billowed on the breeze....

Immortally Dead
i knelt for his scythe
much to his surprise
bowed my head
nothing said
why don't you beg
his boney teeth sprayed
all fear
when i am near
answer me
i was made to die
now tell me that i lie
raise your eyes to mine
he chimed
head still bowed
just do it i growled
but don't miss
or your name
will make my list...

Death In the Wind
I smell decay in the air. Stagnant. Sticky. It curls its wrinkled boney finger towards
me telling me it will be back. Tick tock. Tick tock. The wind blows my hair away from
my face and my soul away from my body. And then the wind stops, giving me my
soul back just long enough for it to start blowing again and carry it away one final
time....

If Darkness Fears Then the Light Has Gone
i made that glint
that caught your eye
hooked finger pulling lid too far
feel that boney shiver
xylophone your spine
seconds sound so much louder
in the quiet time
Uneasy dark tries to accept decline
the unknow squeaks so appealing
no line between the fear and the scare
Can't avoid me
i'm pulling you from within
darkness scurries from me trying to reach the dim...

My Bride of the Black Dress
My bride of the black dress,
Come to me my dear,
Take my hand and kiss me,
My beloved bride,
Soon the wedding will start,
And we shall be wed,
Now wait for me,
Wait for me,
My love is never ending,
Your deathly white skin,
And boney arms are beautiful to me,
So wait for me my bride,
I shall join you soon enough,
But first let me remove this dagger from your heart,
My beautiful bride of the black dress,
Our heaven awaits....

Premium Member I am the Matriarch of the Family
I am the matriarch the grandma said to the lot
Her opinion unvaluable, often ignored, not sought
No one heard this, she had become invisible to them
Everyone looked to her oldest lay-about son Jim

After you reach seventy, you are senile I guess she told Tony
He was her attentive grandson, slim, quiet, and tall boney.
Those twits I sired are forgetting one teeny tiny thing…
If they expect money, remember in this family, I am still king....

Colored Designs
Everytime you discover
a new black hole;
someone crosses the border
and starts crying.

Thread weaved in and out
of tapestry. You were nailed
to the wall, which never
had any doors.

Why were you not a mackintosh ?
You scripted strangely, talking
of an open world. You smell
a war between the poems-

in a book. There was no ad hoc
pain in groins. Your boney
nose went to find the peat moss
in the jungle of sandalwoods.

Surreal Dreams of Her
So the day goes on
one bye to another
the one kills the con
and there is no more bother.
For my dear is gone
lost with the father
she breaks my bone
and the heart stops;
nothing I have anymore shows
and at my new time lows
it all shows.
Big old bothers and weird dreams
nightmares call on and it lingers
through crisp cool air
and I brush her hair with boney fingers.
She looks at me like a stranger
and it kills the show
as the curtain comes to final call....
