Crawfish Boil

Tear the thin membrane.
Suck the juices from within.
Pinch the tail and eat.

The Low Country Boil

take some shrimp, crabs, crawdads, clams
and corn on the cob
a lobster and smoke saugage
and boil it for me
spread on a table
say it's done
yes!

Premium Member Boil Me Up

Do you know you’re so critical of me
You can be overbearing
And you’re so intrusive

Everything you are that is against me
You boil me up into it
I thus fear you greatly

Seafood Boil

Baby red potatoes peeled
Fresh corn from the field
With pink shallots in the pot
Sausages add zing
Then the shrimps go in
Seasoning
Yum

Premium Member Floyd's Passions Boil

Floyd was having an affair with the soil
Something in the ground made his passions boil
He dug a real deep hole
Up popped a New York mole
She slapped poor Floyd ~ I'm not that kind of 'goil!'

Over Started To Boil

Over Started To Boil

Was upset when things over started to boil;
Then there appeared to be another turmoil;
Peace and quiet,
Now part of diet,
And feel better when I will relax and uncoil.

LOW COUNTRY BOIL SOUTH CAROLINA STYLE

Potatoes, corn, onions, sausage, shrimp, and crabs
Boiled together to perfection
Old newspapers laid on the table
All ingredients dumped together
Careful, it's hot
YUM!!

Boil 'Till Red

Salt a mess of fresh blue crabs
Steamed in a beer broth,
with onions and Old Bay spice.
Mix vinegar with
Worcestershire sauce.
Pick, dip, eat.
Treat!

note: Have plenty of cold beer and paper towels on hand!

Premium Member A Country Boil

Get yourself some swamp cabbage,
And get yourself some ham.
Get yourself some snap peas ,
And the biggest pot on hand.

Boil it up together,
Over a nice slow fire,
Until it's all real tender,
Then take it from the pyre.

Don't forget the seasonings,
Just salt and pepper's fine,
And serve it up with corn bread,
And folks will stand in line.

Defending Green Snake

It wasn’t a green snake
That tried God’s enterprise to foil
Nor one of greenish make
That had man pushed into piteous toil.

The sun-loving green wouldn’t anything spoil,
As often it’s thinking of how to funnily coil,
This presuming to playfully act out on your very soil
While your odd animosities you oil
And not once, not twice, unnecessarily boil.

Premium Member Boil On__Uh Tailbone

My grandson who lives with me
Has a boil on his __Uh tailbone
He is in terrible pain because
He is all alone ...can't sit at
The computer or sit to talk
On the phone..can't go anywhere
For he would have to lie down
In the back seat in the car
He's moaning and groaning
And ill as a trapped cat
But don't call or come over
For he wants to suffer alone

Premium Member Makes My Blood Boil

it infuriates me so

kids anxious
to get their grubby hands
on their inheritance
~ their due!

anxious to claim their jackpot
uncouth arrogance and greed

so what if it’s at the expense
of someone else’s lifetime
of labor and sacrifice

the entitlement
the disrespect
mind boggling

it enrages me so

On the Boil

You would not know,
when, a desire,
becomes kismet.

A face shrinks
and glasses become large.

You squeeze your eyes
and look into the sinkhole.
It had devoured the holy spirit.
the thoughts, the poems.

I survive the limbs,
the body, and walk out from
the prison of prayers.

You do not want a deemed liberation.

Only blind spots will do.

Temper of God Boil

Trump More Trouble Recruit

Trump North Korean Officer did salute;
More trouble cause and he will recruit;
Corrupt our soil;
God's temper boil;
Minds of all his supporters pollute.

Feelings Begin and Start

Feelings in your body begin and start;
Flow through arteries owned by heart;
Value has none,
Even after done,
And you are, brain will say how smart.

Boil

my bloods gonna boil
till my veins explode
it takes a hold
flip the switch
into danger mode
you try to hang and hold
till your grip gets slick
and you cant hang no more
your haulin ass
fallin fast
through the danger zone
see your past
flip fast
once it takes control
aint gonna rest
till it takes your blood flesh and bone
its just a test
till the death i guess
no contest
god bless man
im gone

The Low Country Boil

take some shrimp, and crabs
and corn on the cob
add smoke saugage, crawdads
and maybe a lobster and clams
boil it till the ingrediants
turn bright orange or red
through it all on a table
and make sure that all are feed
no plates or forks
napkins thats for sure
make sure all the shells
are properly disposed
when the parties over
and everything is gone
then you know forever
what they call a low country boil

My Low Country Boil

My Low Country Boil

Filled the cauldron, lit the gas
                                     Added shrimps, sea bass
Spices, herbs - can’t be too much
                                      And now my own touch:
                                         I pour in white wine.
                                                 All will be
                                                     Fine!

Boil, Cook, Fried, and Baked

form
in to inflate
soon as my
arm release
the grip from the plate

my pen prolonged
to my heart
have faith
again
i'm the start
and end of a trace

bounce ockward
counts in dark with
sheeps in my dream

boil cause i was
strip of my fate
cooked. cause i was well
over black
baked because when you hurt me i just
stood there and sat
fried cause my skin
is puffy
from all the crabs
i ate

which i'm allergic too.
ain't that crap

In My Left Armpit a Big Boll

In my left armpit a big boll
That made me with anger boil…

Then, nurse began to water boil.
“Please, don’t touch it now: let it boil…”

“But not like breakfast tea I boil!”

I’d prayed fluid would spill on the soil
And had begun to like snakes coil
But her next move, I on that soil,
With the planned help of a sir Doyle
Who made steadying me his toil…

Several attempts to escape foil…

Treating a boil could a day spoil;
Two friends in arguments embroil.

A Boil On the Skin of the World

A Boil on the Skin of the World The surging power rumbles through Molten rock it tends to spew The lava flows though hidden veins We cannot see until land strains Rising like a boil on the skin The inflammation building within Pain and puss explode to relieve The pressure below we cannot conceive A carbuncle on the skin of the world The pressure to burst, mountain tops hurl The lava rising building from beneath The powers of hell waiting to unleash
