Cynical Sins
Delicious corpulent prattle stuck
blustering with sins,
cynical posturing grins
slip quietly into the night....

Leaving
The leaves on the trees bluster.

There are no longer hopes I can muster.

I forgot.

When they let my roots rot.

Love got lost in the blustering leaves.

That swirl around and get caught in the eves....

February Dusk
Ruddy colored Buteo
hovering
upon the budding arms
of the Maple Tree
at the break of Dusk
in the blustering wake
of the Storm

Beneath the Majestic Snow draped Mountains
at the Worlds edge
Like Cakes and Pastries
in a Bakery Shoppe Window...

BUDS burst into blossoms
BLOSSOMS attract BEES
BUTTERFLIES add beauty
To the bountiful bouquets
Of botanic brilliance
While BIRDS balance on branches
By my babbling brook
With beaks beaming
As a blustering breeze blows
A profusion of pretty PETALS
Away down the path
Of my peaceful garden

Please Keep Going
Life. It happens, as we scurry along.
Blustering and charging, nothing's wrong.
It's just. Well, life. Don't stop! Don't think!
Hurry on through, no age to blink.
There's no time to sit. To sit and to cry.
To wander and blunder asking, why?
Tragic. You've missed the next point in
turn.
Miss anymore and you cannot return....

Mood In the Blues
Discouragement besieges my certainty like
clear blue skies swallowing up the noonday sun.

Anxiety trespasses with spears aimed to unguarded
thoughts like water rising on deck from an unruly blue sea.

My syncopated language scat of failure
like a night of blustering blues.

Pillaging my ears and ravaging my mindset's goals and dreams....

Premium Member Edge of the World
I found
The edge of the world
Today
Blustering winds
An angry sea
Waves as high as mountains
What’s beyond
I could not see
Through the squalls
And white caps sea’s
How scared
I was
To glance upon
This very angry scene
That stretched all round me
What a desolate place
Of demonic sea’s
Howling winds
Looking out from
The shore
Of eternity...

Watching You Unhinge
You know not about fear
       when in the spotlight of
your rage
       snarled in distorted
ugly

your hatred
       twisting
       my unguarded spine
stunting small bones
   blustering
        bluffing
concealing weakness
       too plain to miss
as
      you pound down
walls
      and
      hammer
ineffectively on
      my resolve
to
leave you
to
  your
      own
creation...

The Wind
The February full moon stirred
A wintery blustering
Wind that roared through the neighborhood
Like an out-of-control freight train.
The stark, naked trees swayed wildly
In a ceremonial dance
While low-growing tree branches touched
Intermittently the ground
In swift, servile genuflections.
Then for an abbreviated
Lull, an eerie silence prevailed
Within this moonlit quietude
Until the winds bellowing voice
Was heard echoing its return....

Missive To Rg
Reason bare of structure like a storm
Ovulating in an angry sea
Stir sedition and juxtaposes its norm
Ego-wise against a season's glee
Latent turbulence primed with insecurity
Drizzled from a tempestuous sun
Altar of a sadist's alternating history

Gulp your blustering track to the mark
Rendered as God's boundary
Exert not your vain effort to spark
Excitement of lightening in the air
Never more your rage shall cloy my heart with fear....

Cart Wheeling Crystals
Snow flakes
Tapping glass
One by one,
Scraping silence
From the pane of autumn’s stare
Where they gather
In mute reflections,
Like moths to a flame

Blustering into chaotic rhythm
White upon light,
Cart-wheeling crystals
Frozen in free
Falling eddies now
Gathering upon a wind,
In violent whiteout

As a fire stares
Back from beyond the hearth
A sentinel
Of warmth bearing
Witness to fair warning

From an army of
Snow...

Premium Member Never Too Old For Snow!
Like a blustering old man the
storm spews snow epitaphs of disregard
for the minions of man.
A light froth falls from the north
dry and distant making
sideburns, muttonchops on the bark
of barren tree trunks.
The windward side of the trees
applying downward weight of snow
tilting with dismay.
Yet, the day calls to the young
and through slamming back doors they run
sleds, and saucers in their bundled arms
ah... for my ole flexible flyer!...

A Windy Edge
It runs low off the moors,
when it gets to this blustering brink,
it shoves and ropes, it punches eyes.

When it sweeps this ledge
it bites like a viper, it's voice
forged in whirlpools of chaos.

My legs tremble in a corkscrew tug of war.
Gust-mobed clouds crush molecules of fear.
Rain hacks and mauls.

This raw wind has me by the throat;
now all the non-rooted must sink or float,
or be delivered down to the deep dale
and a more sheltering sky....
