Tension in the air
Voices shall declare
Love does need despair
Bloodlines lead us there
Exchange this torch beware
We are the heirs of love

Genius?
Albert Einstein
Consummated bloodlines
Did brilliance shine on his lovin’?
His second wife was twice his cousin.

Bloodlines of the Wicked
Beyond the Mind
New life found
Wistful earnestness
Glory unfound
Denied birth station
Duty bound
Assimilation impossible
Exist underground
Triumph inevitable
No blood around
Lonesome victory

Which Horse Are You
(Double Haiku)
Miracle Man

The words won’t and can’t
horses with unlike bloodlines,
but both still horses.
One horse thinks it can't
The other is proud and Won’t.
Both are pedigreed.

Bloodlines
I saw her in a shadowed room,
She clicks dead people there!
In tempo to Matilda’s waltz,
She pulls them from the air.
She calls to those who tie by blood
While humming, reading sign.
She browses more for common bond
And what she can divine…

a line a familiar voice so much to remember
so much unknown bloodlines relatives and I
share familiar words sound good connections
talk of weather is the easiest it’s colder there
aunt’s son takes care of her he passes her the phone
she says life has always been harder since she left the farm
we’ve already lived our lives each of us lives another

Obedience is a spell.
But some bloodlines
carry thunder in their sleep.
They will call it rebellion.
But it is remembering -
the heartbeat beneath the ruin,
the fire before the name,
before the world was trained
to forget its own divinity.
Before the myths bent truth into control -
there were those
who shaped stars with their breath
and did not ask permission.

Mechanical Imaginations
you say, time travel, as if
we could somehow bend
all that was or ever will be -
mechanical imaginations
perhaps crying crystals
or lit aligning alchemy...
though whichever way we
would come at such ideas
we're clueless whenever it
pertains to warping waves
besides we'd be tampering
with nature and bloodlines
not to mention how our big
egos fancy us gods already

I do not know?
quinzaines
Saul was dazed by his bloodlines.
Was his fervor wrong -
a disguise?
He blacklisted believers.
What was his motive?
Whence his steel?
God’s great Light transformed Saul’s mind.
What passion stirred Saul’s
blinded eyes?
He came to a place called Choice.
Is this Jesus right?
Is He real?
Praise God for His faithful ones.
Who blazed your thinking
past the lies?
Thank God for servant voices.
Who blessed your path with
godly zeal?

Verse
Death Is Free
Higher
Soars the eagle.
Heaven is infinite.
Death comes searching for my spirit.
Chaos!
Water.
My tongue blisters.
Liquid to quench my soul
But death rains down on my shadow.
Faster!
Ants crawl
Carrying weight.
Their lives short yet they store.
I would stay young, but death has come.
Be quick!
Hard life.
Freedom from pain.
The universe gives breath,
And death is free for the living.
Bloodlines!

Hand-me-down myths,
like ancient monoliths,
clan's fondest memories
by nostalgia embellished;
larger-than-life sagas,
truer-than-truth legends,
hyperbolic narrations
of happy exaggerations;
that's ancestral history,
coloring one's genealogy,
seeping, coursing down
bloodlines, tribal milestones,
its gravitational whirl stirs
generations' imagination,
east, west, north, south
through word of mouth!
