Notes About The Poem

Death is Free

Death is Free

Higher
Soars the eagle.
Heaven is infinite.
Death comes searching for my spirit.
Chaos!

Water.
My tongue blisters.
Liquid to quench my soul,
But death rains down on my shadow.
Faster!

Ants crawl,
Carrying food.
Their lives short, yet they store.
I would stay young, but death has come.
Be quick!

Hard life.
Freedom from pain.
The universe gives breath,
And death is free for the living.
Bloodlines!

Deadly Dennis! Very poetic expression of our inescapable fortune. An embrace of mortality, reminder to relish life.
