Strange Me
Silence turned clamor,
blathering became brilliance,
demure gone shameless.
A ride back on April's night,
my emotions flux so high....

Blubber - Mar 8
Blaggard blaming the blond bloke for his blight:
Blablabla, bluster and bleat, blathering
Blob, your blue blood bleeds blotches on a black
Blossom. Blaspheme, blabber—I blast your bluff....

Said the I-pad to the HP up tight
You just can’t get anything write
You’re a blathering twit
Lacking feeling or wit
Mindless “thoughts” lacking feeling or “byte”

Forever Unfinished
What if this was my last brew, blow,
last blathering scribbling,
unfinished, tragically abandoned
because of a faithless unforeseen?

Would I be content, or bent backwards?
What good would any high stilts do me then
and how many blind mice
must be interned
within a never ending last breath?...

The Knower Inhaling
Be leaved
In your redemption
As whole
Leave is unworthy
Of spirit
Usual day
Ends of spittle held
Under nectars perch, hast child as babe
Layed beneath wounds crown?
Neither beckon of blankets coldened ease
Wells, as slavic despondent ledgers
Nor, blathering distinct indemptions buffet
Break winds towards lightnings laughter

You are on a little roll today
I have no idea what he is speaking of
But I know one thing
He is always speaking

Yak Yak Yak
Yuk Yuk Yuk
Yak Yak Yak
Chat Chat Chat
Blab Blab Blab
Gossip Gossip Gossip
Constant blubbering and blathering

You are a wild woman he says
I ignore him
Not wanting to encourage
any more words to come out of his mouth...

I have always been reticent
to speak too much.
Blathering out loud is as
leaning on a crutch.

Better too little, too late,
than too much, too soon.

Speak sparsely and plainly
what you mean to say.
And if poetry be involved,
make it a gift you give away!

Always think things and thoughts through.

And if you do decide to give it away,
Do it today!
Do not wait.
Not too little, too late.

But make it the best
you can do....

Truth Written: by Tom Wright 2/11/2018 Truth becomes diminished as innuendos persist, Here-say repeating put many on some blacklist. By spreading falsehoods, a reputation we’ll slay, Blathering consumes hours of air time each day. Frequency of repeating makes no narrative so, And oft repeated stories forever appear to grow. An innocently embellished whisper morphs to a lie, We furnish an ear and can’t understand why.
