Truth
Truth
Written: by Tom Wright

Truth becomes diminished as innuendos persist,
Here-say repeating put many on some blacklist.
By spreading falsehoods, a reputation we’ll slay,
Blathering consumes hours of air time each day.
Frequency of repeating makes no narrative so,
And oft repeated stories forever appear to grow.
An innocently embellished whisper morphs to a lie,
We furnish an ear and can’t understand why.
