shrilly she calls him
he stares blankly into space
again the call comes
he smiles while contemplating
what he might have for dessert
The best sort of wonder
Stares blankly, not just at
Rain, and its pooled splat;
As informs mesmeric
On how each act projects
Its ripple effects.
Staring blankly at an unblank spreadsheet.
My paints, unspread, in the next room.
A woodpecker bangs headlong into a frozen tree.
staring blankly
the sights are too odd to take.
creepy dull moments,
tick tock of the clock absurds
they're killing my sanity.

We live in an era
when you confess to someone
that he is the one,
he will just stare blankly at you
and say: Oh, I see.
Well, there are many Ones.
An eerie silent bellows in her ears.
Whispering screams of peaceful nightmares.
All alone, she is followed by a familiar stranger.
Who blankly smiles as he walks away beside her.
An eerie silent bellows in her ears.
Whispering screams of peaceful nightmares.
All alone, she is followed by a familiar stranger.
Who blankly smiles as he walks away beside her.
Poverty's age
is an age unfrankly
When the troubles to come
are an owned 'jest rankly
For the soul of a man
who can bless less thankly
When the whole of a stand
is a death lest blankly
her friend asked her
"did he break your heart?"
she replied,
while staring blankly at her shoes,
and clutching the crinkled note tightly
in her shaking hands,
"what heart?"
She was too numb to know.
Let's see, where is my mind headed today
It easily veers off course and I totally lose my way
Sometimes totally unaware
At times blankly stare
Off to la-la land and can't follow the play
As I lick the blood of battle
Mighty sword glistening in the scorching sun
My arm slowly lays it to the ground
Falling, I stare blankly, up to the sky
Dead
All battles now won
Love lost long ago
Let's see, where is this mind of mine headed today
It can easily veer off course and totally lose its way
Sometimes totally unaware
At times blankly stare
Off to la-la land and can't follow the play
It sits staring blankly at me
It says come here just try and see
Helping is what I do
Come on over is only plea
Free to come, free to go sweet pea
Try it bid weight adieu

I sit still, blankly looking into the screen
Forever crippled by the TV
Imagination, killed by people
the lovers, the followers, the religion
Suicide is a game
and its hunting season
So, I say "**** it"
Why not?
You asked why I was not smiling
I looked at you blankly
Then smiled
That's all I had
A blank page look
Because not always am I happy
Sometimes I am an observer
Watching and questioning
All that we are
All that we do
By the twilight of the uncaring moon, the
Nightingale warbles a haunting tune,
as I stare blankly at the merciless moon
hoping to death that it's grip takes me soon.
And as all that I wrought lies in ungodly ruin,
the Nightingale warbles a tune.
Wind weathered dream severed
eyes hollow stare blankly out
rough seas washed away hopes
hardened hearts die
fragile souls cry
hastily built walls
stones tumble
broken in a blackened sky
masses filter the catacombs
steeple's raise notice
dropping down suddenly
When the net is down, we stare blankly at the wall
We consider hanging out at the food court in the mall
Obsessed is a word that is often used
Nothing to do but go for a snooze
Life without the net is absolutely no life at all

But you're strong
And you're healthy
And you're fit
They said
Your pain and your suffering
That's just in your head
You look lively and vibrant
Focus on that instead
I consider this
As I stare blankly ahead
Thinking
What use is good health,
When your mind wants you dead?
Four walls blankly stare at me,
as I sit on a bed that once
carried the weight of two lovers.
Sometimes I shout,
angry at myself,
wondering how I was blind
to let you go.
The walls echo the shouts
back at me - as I keenly
listen to the echoes,
I hear your name
somewhere inside them....
I feel it;
all of it.
The pain, the regret, the humiliation, the guilt, the heartache, everything.
I cry silent tears for you.
While you feel nothing.
you look on, blankly.
you dont look at me, you look through me.
you're in a world of your own, content to ignore reality.
Content to feel nothing.
I stare blankly out my window
With my head against the lifeless glass
I watch the wind dance with the snow
And burn my flesh on the ice cold brass
Cursing at the painful sting, of waiting for the time to pass
The children play and run around
While I'm stuck behind my internal casque
Waiting to be found
She sits and stares blankly,
Thoughts running through her head.
Pen in her hand,
What will she do next?
She lets out a huge sigh,
Eye-lids wanting to close.
Muscles are tense,
What will she do next?
She must go to sleep now,
Her mind just won't switch off.
It might sometime,
What will she do next?
Form:
I sat down the mat,
Sipped hot chocolate and stared
Blankly at the black cat
Like I never cared.
It meowed and meowed,
Filled the room with the meowing sound
And ran away to the door
Where the cat accidentally slipped.
I was surprised,
Dropped my cup to the floor
And down it went,
Broken to jigsaw pieces.
Street
pulsates
under sky
scrapers, listen
To the city breathe
blowing, huffing, puffing
hurry, push, eyes blankly stare
SCREAMS echoing in the alley
go ignored in the sidewalk shuffle
stench of urine, decay and APATHY
