Teeny Tiny
Why did the teeny, tiny mouse,
With the gigantic size cheese,
Grow as big as a house
And the cheese, smaller than bees?...

He was as meek as a little mouse

But his beak was as big as a house

So when a dozen crows

Nested way up his nose

Only then would he begin to grouse...

Since big as a house, she wasn’t appealing
So there was no use in her concealing
Her enormous gut
Along with her butt
That came with a basement, floor and a ceiling...

Big as a house,
Scared of a mouse,
With nose that grows
Down to its toes.
Fearlessly drives tusk into dusky musk.
Wisely buggers-off from the likes of usk....

In a shallow grave
Behind a big old whitewashed house
where a tattered flag still waves
beside a small cross made with staves
and in the wood, clearly carved
with the spirit of devolution
states, "Here interned today
Lies the US Constitution "...

I remember when her butt was small

It's been so long I hardly recall

It was cute as a mouse

Now it's big as a house

Guess it's better than no butt at all

I suggested she go see a Doc

And when she found one just down the block

He helped her lose the weight

Oh Wow! She looks so great

But then she dropped me like a hot rock...

Praise my poetry prowess
I'm a man not a mouse
With my prose and my rhyme

Yes my ego's been soused
And is big as a house
At least most of the time

When level, I canter
I revel in banter
I'm not anyone's mime

Put me up on that stage
Though I don't act my age
And I'm well past my prime

So come in for the show
It don't cost much you know
Just a measly red dime

Said you're saving your bucks
And think poetry sucks
Then I say that's a crime...

Sunshine On the Moon
Sunshine on the Moon

A moon at the crest of a hill,
As big as the house it was covering,
Neighbors gathered – strangers and old,
In moonbeams fearfully hovering.

Never was there such a moon,
Through my lifetime of many years,
Un-believing so awed we were,
Breathless, still, evoking shared stunned tears.

Never will I forget that night when
This old world rolled around just right
And sunshine seemed to inflate the moon
Truly heaven’s wonder gone too soon....
