Tribute Six
"Bev-literated and Beautified"
by: Eric L. Boddie

Belief brings Blessed Baggage
Even entering Eternal ecstasy
Vividly vain visions vanish

Because the Beauty you possess
Engages others to relieve stress
Very easily because your heart is truly Blessed.......

If You Were Here
If you were here,
This is what I would do.
Hold you very near, knowing you would like to.

If you were here
This is what I would say,
I would whisper in your ear.

I love you every day
If you were here
This is how I would feel
My eyes will fill of tears
I know is can not bev real....

Battle of the Sexes
Battle of the Sexes

Communication void of substance goes unheard,
Imaginary words sounding so absurd!
Relationships, luster lacking is loveless,
Feels like cold hands that are gloveless!
Take heed, the mind, body and soul have needs!

Five Somewhat Kinky Lines Concerning Love
If love is just a game we need a referee
If SEX is just a game I want instant replay
She stole my heart and as a result, I became a heartless person
SO, when I asked her to have a heart she said “Heck no, I already got two!"
I was captured and tortured in The Battle of the Sexes but must admit I rather enjoyed it

Premium Member After Forever
The long kiss had finished but still we embraced,
love's giddiness filling our heads,
your gaze locked on mine then you spoke, soft and low,
“ I'll love you forever” you said.
But after forever came Bev and then Rachel,
and then Corrinne and Kirstie and Ruth,
also Lesley and Janet so it does seem to me that
forever is short, that's the truth.

Battle of the Sexes:
Over the best of three sets tennis history was made!

Acrostic Drugs:
Fall for oceanic allure, not cocaine.

Affection:
By the bubbling brook bees bond with buttercups.

Disillusion:
My dreams are like soap bubbles – they keep popping.

Spoilsport:
He quashed all their ideas, but finally spared a thought!

I gazed into her eyes until she could imagine the person she wanted me to be.

If I do it wrong the first time it will free up a lot of time for me later.

No I don't need hearing aids, I have perfected the art of selective hearing.

Take your time, I'll be in the car testing the horn.

How was I supposed to know you didn't want me to answer your question?

Meanwhile
Bob’s accident was not "too" bad;
young lady with both legs broken.
Driving on drugs, he’s ultra rad;
“Go to Rehab,” judge has spoken.
Meanwhile... she goes to rehab too;
Bev learns to walk again, wahoo.

When laws and legs guys freely break,
what’s “legit” walks off the pages.
Their lawyers give this bellyache,
“We don’t put addicts in cages!”
Meanwhile... last time Bob tests a tort,
Bev appears as lawyer in court.

Battle of the Sexes??

Amorphous metrosexuals haggling over who’s going to hold the bags.

Sight seeing

Never ask directions of a man standing naked in a kayak

Hick up

Whiskey never asks permission of the permissive.

So sew

Thirty-three thimbles teetered on the table top.

Knothead

He drove the nail from one side of town to the other.

Premium Member American West In Camouflage
Based on painting by Bev Doolittle: Woodland Encounter

American West in Camouflage

Two Indians* hide, in the birch forest,
and ride their pintos, hooves pitting the snow.

Conspicuous - red fox in clearing - sights
quiet stride of hide and seek…trenchant ears

at peak performance in centralized cope
         …sentient sentinel highlights canvas.

One Liners

Confusion
Confusion is rIpping apart fusion to confound a muddlehead.

Inflated Ego
Inflated Ego is an overblown gas balloon.

Battle of Sexes
Battle Of Sexes ends in the hibernation of a fused fox by a diffused vixen.

Love
In the history of love one has to walk precariously along the quick sands of hearts.

Winter
Lulled winter romances before stormy autumn wails
