oh juniper tree
high five to thy lively gin
that drives us to jibe
a jitterbug jig and jive
that we all get berried in...

Of Beauty, All's Gone Out
Of Beauty, all's gone out.
No let hung glimmer
High or low branched, for this
And that leaf-ember.

Not o'er the whole sad Earth.
Til this grateful shock.
Birdhouse a-flame! Porch-oozed.
Redbreast's berried smock....

Auld Lang Syne
Tonight, let’s toast to life’s revelries
When fullness of time drips fine wine,
Play on the year’s red-berried stories
Sipping the kindness of Auld Lang Syne!
As this year is now forever gone,
That through all journeys we entwine
Newer the resolve, to right the wrong
To sing of praises, good Auld Lang Syne!

Ambrosia
As we spoke I could only think of honey
It was in the flow of her velvet hair
The brown nectar in her luscious eyes
It was in her voice
The taste of her sound

Pouring sunshine into my empty cup
An elixir fit for the gods
Blessing my mortal soul
My sweet Ambrosia

their last pre-frost hunt, and
feast within the berried trees,
I wonder if they think upon

within its sheltered folds;
as we might ponder
while passing by
our old childhood home.
Or, do they simply move along
- time being too valuable
for sentimental recollections.

Your Secret Side
I am your sin for you to keep.
When you have guilt while you sleep.
In the morning when we have parted,
You'll be thinking of what we have started.

You love me, even though you are married.
I can see all the regret you haven't berried.
I couldn't ask you to leave your wife.
You have a good family and a nice life.

You'll have to tell her in due time.
About your sin and bad crime.
But for now I'll let you keep it.
I'll stay and be your sin secret....
