Don'T You... Get the Point?!

Yes, the rhino is leather that rumbles
and deadly to a hunter who fumbles,
Now secure in the zoo,
Still, it might behoove you
not to show your backside if you stumble.

Habitual Ritual

Habitual Ritual

Trump's horrible habit was habitual,
And is now becoming a daily ritual;
We did behoove;
Come to prove,
Being idiot can be considered as intentional.

Behoove

He misconstrued my intention of friendship
Forver sealing our fate to be acquaintances
Married to others with a nagging sense of loss
Keeping our mates at bay away from true intimacy

Running Rip Shod With Fraud

Running Rip Shod With Fraud

Are many things that we love and laud;
Which are always appreciated by God;
From Him behoove,
A political move,
Except world running rip shod with fraud.

Premium Member Strange Cream of Wheat Box

Do you think it a trifle odd,
when dirt clumps in a clod?
and more exquisite and grand,
when separated into sand?
If that's the way soil moves you,
It would certainly behoove you,
when preparing Cream of Wheat
to stir often over medium heat.

who came out of the closet

Premium Member WE HAVE A LOT TO LEARN

At this time in our country’s history
when so many people are so headstrong…
where so many think they are right…
while everyone else is wrong…

It would behoove us all to understand
wisdom, like respect…is something that we earn…
That no one has all the answers
and…
we all have a lot to learn.

The Only Birds That Never Sleep

...title courtesy of Victor Hugo

Silver'd whisps,
diaphanous, floating 'neath
the ether, flying high like
prophecy or prayer.

Black forbidding masses
rumbling out their message,
jagged bolts of lightning
rend the air.

Innocuous or deadly,
omens to discerning eyes,
it would behoove us all
to heed the skies.

flying high like prophesies from God.
Black forbidding masses rumble out their warning,
jagged bolts of lightning rend the air.
Innocuous or deadly, oft they're in disguise,
it would behoove us all to heed the skies.

Paving the Way

A poem a day helps pave the way
For feeling I’ve succeeded
In keeping apathy at bay,
A nourishment I’ve needed.

Since most of us have such a crutch,
(It needn’t feature writing)
We might agree that just a touch
Of habit keeps us fighting.

We don’t need others to approve,
For they can never measure
The joy our choices do behoove
To bring us daily pleasure.

Balmore Eruv Verve!

Once there was a Rabbi Yonah,
Whose Shabbos Eruv made you wonder,
Does Yonah’s art belong in the Louvre?
Does our gratitude behoove yah?
This Detroit Tiger slams a Homah!

For Yonah is Balmore’s donor,
Mesiras Nefesh, never a groaner,
Keeping Jews in the groove,
It only goes to prove,
Huh? Giving generously makes one an owner!

Premium Member Stay Safe

Calling all cars! Calling all cars! Be
On the look out for the invisible, the untested.
Resume suspicion of all surfaces.
Our hands like precious china.
Nevermind the irony,
Act vigilant, cautious, enclosed.
Verify the whereabouts of your fingers.
Interrogate your face.
Render all humans and objects a possible threat.
Underestimation will nationally behoove us.
Stay safe.

With You Forever Always

anytime with you, i love the way life feels
anytime with you, i love the way love heals

any day with you, i love the fun we make
any day with you, i love every direction we take

all the time with you, i love the way you move me
all the time with you, i love how you behoove me

always forever with you, i can reach all the stars above
always forever with you, with my heart i give my love

Premium Member Wave Goodbye Comrades

Welcome to the United States

Home of the new Russian empire

Half of you have the impression

That our Democracy should expire

You choose to bow down to some clown

Who touts Vladimir Putin

And you won't be satisfied

Until everyone starts shootin'

If you just want to be a slave

Your future it would behoove

Give our country a final wave

And pack up your guns and move
