Beholden

"BEHOLDEN"

three decades ago,
something died
inside of me.
how grateful I have
been.

Dearest valued chum

You’re such a crony to me

A boosterish pal

Yes! With a beholden heart

I thank you for everything

If I said
You love me fast
Would make you think
This couldn’t last
But I believe beholden
To break up
That this one
Will consume the past

Shhh

Silence
Sometimes golden
Other times not beholden
Surreptitious sounds suddenly start
Colossal fear creeps slowly inside me
Inexplicable turmoil fills my being confused

Lost and Taken

Great sorrow felt.
That judgement thou dealt.
Selfish and blinded.
Unbridled.
Nature divided.
Absolutely required.
Discarded as folly.
Parried as play.
Honor and pride.
Mother beholden.

Premium Member Beholden To Hinnom

Valley of despair,
eager, burns eternal flames,
delivering souls.

Loathsome lake of fire,
choking forth ash and sulfur,
swallowing the damned.

Cursed, unholy ground,
biblical euphemism,
forge of wickedness.

Wishing Fruitful Age

Wish the young ones
Grow fast as crab
Sweet as sugar.

Wish the bloom one
Learn experience
Life not wasted.

Wish the matured
Work to fruition
Never complaint.

Wish the old ones
Age to golden
Words beholden.

         bitty boy bored
wedged between babysitters -
        queen is celebrant…
prince-heir bides seventy years
beholden crowds cheer his crown

Premium Member DAILY GRATITUDE THE CHLDREN

I will always be beholden to children…
they are where some of my gratitude stems…

Because they remind me every day…
If we want our children to love and show care for others….
we must first love and show care for them

Beholden

She never stopped talking, but now silence is golden
She ran off with the lodger, to him I'm beholden.

Premium Member Ah, Those Golden Years

How fitting is the title

of that time of life named Golden.

To surgeries or drugs

those years are often most beholden.

Listen to poem:
To meet someone of your perfection, I have beholden
I've seen it in your oculus glass, protecting the golden
You are the culmination of what life has molden
Simultaneous impressions of heart and soul bolden
Quiescence my happiness, in you, never found cold in

My Heart To Rest

While not belonging anywhere,
beholden then to none

I spread me seeds upon the land,
and let my spirit run

I cast my lot into the air,
direction, fate be known

And far beyond prevailing winds
—my heart to rest atoned

My Heart Now Rests

While not belonging anywhere,
  beholden then to none

I spread me seeds upon the land,

I cast my lot into the air,
  direction fate be known

And far beyond prevailing winds,
 —my heart now rests atoned
