When I needed someone to talk to
You said I could befriend you
Said that I could trust you
Said how you was oh so true
When I did
You turned on me
What was your reasons for hurting me?
You like everyone else
Lied to me
Form:
Life only means life
when sorrow is sturdily liberated
from a fearful heart.
Yet the strongest heart valiantly beats
when life frees life
into liberated sadness,
not to fearlessly beat but
befriend sorrow.
