Like a Sparkling Roman Candle -

Like a sparkling Roman candle -
  Red beardtongue dots the canyon.
Oh, what handsome bugles!
  That decorate the trail along

Where pebbles were brushed aside
And sway with the breeze -
Not to elicit surprise
  But to befriend the greenery.
