Springtime

Because you are a special one,
beside the creatures of Nature,
befriend the one whose trust you’ve won
before lines of their crenature
belie the underlying earth,
becoming mulch for Spring’s new birth.

Linda, indeed we need to be kind and take advantage of the time we have to treat our dear ones (and the natural world at large) with love (and not so much selfishness). I am of the mind that nothing lasts forever....certainly we are only here for a brief moment. It is a pleasure to read something like this. Smiles!
