Premium Member Reading To Grandpa

May I read to you Grandpa,
About a puppy that I saw,
With a big bone in his jaw
And a bandage on his paw?
He was sleeping in the straw.

Bleed

invisible lessons
no one can see
scars on the heart
from those we believed
truth is a bandage
that won't stop the flow
you still bleed out
you just bleed slow

Engrave

bonemarrow monster
bloodwisp, haunts
the knife
carve flesh formations
to faces.

bandage maker
stitch stabbed, wounds
the soil
build marble mutations
to epitaphs.

For You, the World

As I write my poem for the day I realize that you have something that belongs to me, my heart, but it's to tender to give back so keep it, I still have my words to bandage my soul.
Form: Verse

Moves On

Life moves on
but I dont think I do.
You can seal the bandage
but I pick at the wounds.
Life moves on
but I dont think I do.
You can walk away
but Im still burried in you.
Form: Lyric

Before the Fall

Wounded vanity
 mother of all tragedy
Slander and insults
the arrows dead aim

Pride bleeding carnage
no reason can bandage
The mirror once broken
—each crack filled with pain

(Dreamsleep: February, 2023)
Form: Rhyme

Past and Present

Look into my eyes
as the void is bent
and our silent goodbyes
becomes past and present
I don't want this moment to end
but the darkness begins to envelop us
a wound no bandage can mend
and all existence becomes dust.

Premium Member The Poet's Soul

The soul is his home,
detachment an intruder.
He is like a street dog
who sees rainbows.
A slate reflects life;
emotion exposed by a pen.
Pain and beauty cut deep.
No bandage can heal;
only words can complete.

Death By Disdain

Crying; eyes closed
Dermis exposed
Blood on my clothes
Thoughts decompose
Flame-licking burning
Stomach is turning
Dizzy; concerning
Better start learning
Death by disdain
I dance in the rain
Drunk on the pain
Bandage my brain

Stop

Stop the bleeding
Stop the hurt
Pull out the knife
You helped insert

Stop the bleeding
Stop the pain
Bandage the opening
Before it can stain

Stop the bleeding
Make it go away

take away the sorrow
you caused by being

Cock and Hens

A cock and hens in a cage
The cock is in it’s old age

All hens cock to manage
To live in love cock encourages

Hens are always in bandage
The cock is making them damage

The cock keeping hens engaged
The hens are taken into his salvage

''Restraint''

Tell me your stories.
How fickle they are.
Bring me your troubles.
As I bandage defined scars.
Ruthless friend,care only for self.
Put my feelings upon your shelf.
What more can one give?
Impossible trait.
Deal yourself your own maniacal fate.

Premium Member Separate spaces, United hearts

Listen to poem:
Sperate the spaces,
Tracking our traces
We're not ever far apart,
The finest composed
Written with our prose
We'll sing slow songs of the heart

Feelings of freedom
Subset is seldom
Distancing, us from the start
Dissolve all the years
Bandage all our fears
Brought this harmony so smart

I Can'T Forget Her

Although time is a bandage
But some time requires
To forget someone
To get heart normal
I need some time
Some pain left here
How I can lost myself
In a new love story
Yet that person is here
Alive in my heartbeat
Yet my footprints are there
On our the way of love
Yet I can't love again
Yet I can't forget her

A Poem For a Friend

Your the flower I need when my happiness dies
Your the map I turn to when all hope is lost
Your the net that catches me when I fall into temptation
Your my eyes when I'm blinded by opportunity
Your the tape for my broken heart
The bandage for wounded soul
Your my friend the crowd
And the psycho in my mind :P
Your my Danni

Premium Member PAPER CUTS

I have in haste
Enraged the paper’s edge
Soft slit of idle pain
Awaits
A dash of sweaty salt

Red dots upon the page
Unmuttered curses
Venom spit
Through gritted teeth

No bandage
Will adhere to finger tip
Lest it hit keys
Before their due
Doth did I try
A bit of Crazy Glue

Thus, am I stuck
In keyboard “L”

Hussain Grey

You are a bandage for the wounded,
for blooded sanguine offerings.
Hussain Grey for well routined soldiers
in the trench fields of Flanders
gallant to a point of duty

Grey I see you sulking,
cowardly marches
on weeping willow lined roads
cherished that only once
to storm away
unable to make amends
for your dun colour

It Is Time To Go

The room is small,an unpleasant odour fills the air
She lays motionless.

Deathly pale, covered in a sheet of cotton
A lock of golden hair strays from a linament bandage.

I clasped her hand, blew on the tiny fingers
breathing life into them.

silence all around, an aspiration offered
I said my goodbye, it is time to go.

   Small light strips.
   Each touching a part,
   Never pulling the two sides.

   Grasping over a crevice.
   One fine line in between,
   Holding firm.

   Connecting each heavy edge.
   Not bringing near,
   Each tab stretched in fear.

   The bandage won't last.
Fill is coming to the crevice,
   At last.

Red Lights

I came home from school full of bruises and torn fabrics.
Ma was sitting at the living room sofa waiting for me with her bandage kit.
I could only hear my breath as she wrap the bandage on my arm,
Halfway through Ma suddenly stopped.
Red lights flashed from her eyes.
Damn I need to plug her in.
Looks like I’ll be tending to my own wounds today.

Premium Member Lovely Wounds

Rip off the bandage
Expose your deep, gaping wounds
Let your scars show, my dear
For they reveal who you are
You have lovely, lovely wounds

Fate To Recall

Life on the fringes
ignoring your pain
 words were my fortress
again and again

Riding the fence line
fixing the wire
judgment expelling
intruders and liars

Distance and loneliness
harken and call
wisdom and certainty
fate to recall

One final time
to emerge from my cave
bandage your heartache
—myself I then save
