Red Lights

I came home from school full of bruises and torn fabrics. Ma was sitting at the living room sofa waiting for me with her bandage kit. I could only hear my breath as she wrap the bandage on my arm, Halfway through Ma suddenly stopped. Red lights flashed from her eyes. Damn I need to plug her in. Looks like I’ll be tending to my own wounds today.
