Waiting To Get Into the Ballpark
To be checked for illegal items, I must go through security. If someone has to feel me up, I want a woman to do it to me.

You know I'm posting this for

Premium Member Cheer Your Lungs Out
The crack of the bat
  The arc of the ball
It lands over the fence
  Gives the fans a thrill

Close play at the plate
  A headfirst slide
Clouds of dust raised
  He's safe; game's tied!

Cheer your lungs out
  Give an occasional boo
Beer and brat at the ballpark
Great day for me and for you...

Let's Go To the Bank
This is a ballpark that looks very pretty. It is named after a bank that is based in the city. Here, we see the boys of summer do their thing. Baseballs fly over the fence with a mighty swing. From early April to late September, we will have baseball memories we can remember. The home team will probably not be a contender. However, they will play the game and not surrender.

Cincinnati Reds
For all of you, here is a little history: Professional baseball got its start in Cincinnati. The “Red Stockings” played in the Queen City. That was in 1869; over a century ago. Players were paid on the banks of the Ohio. With gloves made of leather, and bats made of wood, this year’s team is also pretty good. “Great American Ballpark” is where they play ball. The Central Division winners just might take it all.

The Bums Play Somewhere Else
Just in case this is something you didn't know before: the Dodgers don't play baseball in Brooklyn anymore. Ebbett's Field is a ballpark we will no longer see. It was torn down, and is now a part of history. Even though those boys in blue have gone away, they are still playing the game of baseball today. In a new town, the Bums have achieved greater success. Home games are played in the California city of Los Angeles.

Opening Day Blues
Here in this ballpark, it is the early April spring.
The local boys take the field to do their thing.
A sellout crowd was on hand to cheer the team.
The team had plenty of support, it would seem.

Our boys came up short with the score today,
but there are many more games left to play.
Whenever the team loses, it is a shame.
Please remember, it was only the first game.
There is one great big fact everyone should know,
there’s a hundred and sixty-one games to go....
