Happy In Bags

Seeds complained bitterly;
“We were resting in bags,
happy and safe we were!
Why take us away by force
to be buried in wet soil?”

DOGGIE BAGS

For breeding they tagged him unsuitable
removed them and implanted neuticles
they swing as he passes
impressing the lasses
this “doggie bag” now makes him feel beautiful,

Premium Member Two Bags of Seed

When I was born
I came equipped
With two million seeds

Not warm enough
Nor moist enough
Or too many weeds

The sun not out
The soil not rich
Or nothing that one needs

I base my stance
On abortion rights
On the reality of seeds

Tea Bags

I think there is too much tea in a teabag for just one cup of tea
- just as I think there is
Too much soul in a life for one body
Too much knowledge for one life
But we can try
And that's how we get by
Wasting some of our tea
...As we sip slowly

Premium Member plastic bags blowing in the wind

Why do we see so many plastic bags blowing around and about?
A million such bags are made each minute, today I found out.
We use them to carry books, gardening tools, whistles and plastic stars.
Most of us use them daily, and they blow out the windows of our cars.

Bags and Lashes

Bags and Lashes, the things we do To make them love us, to make them woo Bright colors red lips Large swaying hips Does he like me? Maybe not. Maybe so. My bag and lashes will let me know.

Balloons and Bags

Listen to poem:
How do we save the children who get high?
With each passing day they slowly die.
Huddled in corners with balloons and rags.
Breathing in futures containing body bags.
These are our children, who we love and hold.
Its their pain and confusion that has made them so bold.

Bean Bags

throwing around
all of wisdom's
words about
stones

sticks and stones
glass houses
and who was
the first to

cast one
all these
so wise
to live by

but one absurd
exception not
by meaning
but suggestion

for why
would
i ever
want

to
kill
two

An Old Man In Rags

There lived an old man in rags
who spoke words of wisdom in bags
                                Although he was called mad
                                He wasn't mad indeed
He was saner r from others by yards

Mixed Bag

In his likeness and,
Out of boundless love, he
Cursed the earth into existence.
Every man with a uniqueness which
Nourishes the sight.
When the clouds ladens and,
Thunderbolts rocks the earth,
Children fix their stares to the skies and,
Grace their eyes with arrays of wonderful colors.

Walkers Bags of Taste 1

Walkers crisps should be forced to comply
With trade description legislation
And stop disappointing their customers
With their artificial flavourization

When purchasing a bag of Walkers crisps
The refined palate of an epicurean
Would be gravely disappointed if they did not

Walkers crisps should be forced to comply
With trade description legislation
And stop disappointing their customers
With their artificial flavourization

When purchasing a bag of Walkers crisps
The connoisseur would think it a mistake
If he was unable to detect the distinct flavour
Of sweaty cagoule and Kendal mint cake

Pack Your Bags

Pack your bags
It’s time to go
Worn out welcome
As if you didn’t know

Pack your bags
It’s time to flee
Away from this chaos
Far from me

Pack your bags
It’s time to depart
Find another pawn
Build a fresh new start

Pack your bags
It’s time to leave
Don’t forget anything
It’s time for me to believe

Bags

In travel, you may check your bags
But sometimes it is wise
To choose a carry-on instead
When taking to the skies.

I much prefer to keep my bags
So there is no surprise
When I deplane, for missing luggage
Tends to traumatize.

Of course, I always have with me
Some bags I do despise,
Which some of you have guessed, I’m sure –
The bags beneath my eyes!

Premium Member Life Drags Out of Plastic Bags

His life does not progress; it drags. The few possessions he has are in plastic bags. He has little or nothing to eat, but his heart still beats. He has no place to call his home. He lives on the streets. Nobody he knows is willing to give him a new start. Life is not living when it is out of a shopping cart. inspired by another member's poem
