the knife only glints

as they bury you

Something deeply troubles the sun God king, 

whispers in the wind have come to him in warning, 

an ominous dawn approaches, of someone or some thing. 



Who would have thought the wings of change would so soon send, 

the golden era of Aztec rule 

to such a sad and terrible end, 



after so much time....the soul of the earth is on the mend, 

voices long gone are calling out to us to remember, 

but they're not much more then whispers in the wind....
