Was just learning about the Aztecs in class the other day, the title caught my eye. Don't know much about poetry let alone a Haiku but this is very cool and most of all interesting. Thanks for sharing!

Lovely write... I like the imagery of this and the sense of impending tragedy as two opposing cultures meet for the first time.

Love history and Aztecs a wonderful combo in this lady's train of thought, Nice job but I'm an honest commentor and you are a good writer and I was hunger for more on this subject, my favorite part was grandeur and splendor I'm going to read more of your work so I can learn more about the writer meaning you thank you for your cool comments on my work also. Yes, it was truly great. I remember in jr. high school, I did my project on this civilization and I learned so much about them.
