Untitled #197 / Awake

Awake from a dream about gangsters
it’s Friday morning, I’ve slept in

now I’ll dream about her

Firme pilatus gratus
Enfrenten a filus
Quizan portraten
A mi imagenet si proclamen
Ingratus porquatemoc

For Those Who Do Not Want To Keep Themselves Awake

While sleeping or dreaming
they have a tendency to forget everything;
Is it because they like evenings
and hate mornings?

I’m Awake!!

The emptiness of morning awaits
grey clouds lollygagging
across snooze alarm sky.

Awake

Your eyes open gently
I wait to hear a sound
you say something softly
your feet hit the ground
I try to ask but your not around

Awake

awake, it has risen, awake!
it is time to make and take
it is time to think and be
Take it now for a robe
before the world rises to bake

choiceless choice
lucid dream
is but play

the peril
hypnosis
so we fall

I Awake Before Sun Break

I awake before sun break, while the morning dew is still on the grass, with the sound of birds singing. Poet David W Carter

Awake I Dream

I'd much rather lose sleep
If being awake meant I could
always dream you
Than to rest my weary head
at night, come morning wake
never again to see you

Premium Member I Must Awake

I must get up
I must awake
This boredom
Is madness
I will not define
Do I work
Too much
I know I’m
Spontaneous
And spend easy
But I want
To be free

Keep Your Mind Awake

Never let your mind
be covered by foggy patches,
Even if they seem
much softer than you think,
On the mind, they leave
unvisible but hazardous scratches

Moon Awake

awake and lonely
someone said
Just look at me
somewhere
someone,
is looking right at you,
turned around wonder,
who are you?
he replied,
its me
moon awake

Lying Awake At Night

Lying awake at night
The stars pierce my eyes
As the world goes blank
And all I may possibly see
Is your smiling face
Reminding me that
Life is a cruel combat
But we are fierce fighters

We Must Keep Awake

When that day will come we cannot know,
so now let us prepare for forecast woe.
     We must keep awake
     for Christ Jesus' sake,
ready for his glory to go on show.

Mark 13.32-37

Inside the hatch
your demons will remain awake;
Inside the hatch
they open you and take their catch;
Rich banquet the Beast will partake
waiting for your control to break,
inside the hatch.

Premium Member In the midnight hours

I looked longingly out my window
Even the moon seemed to snub me
The sky exuding gloom and doom
It was going to be a long night
Awake in the stillness of my room

There’s a day sun and a night sun.
The day sun rises,
the night sun sets,
black circle descending into the depths
of a ceramic sky,
so my brain can say to sleep,
“For now, goodbye.”

Awake Then Asleep

Summer, darkened off.
Hung yet of o'er
As bright to the core
Nectarine. Peach.

Arboured italian!
Now my pleasure
To share whose leisure
Ripe to ravish
Soft cheeked, alike squish.
When for, so reach.
