Avatar

My avatar is my green eye
When I seen it I let out a cry!
Fix it? I gave it a try
I'm not a tech-savvy guy
If you see it now you know why.

Gray squirrel bends water
above his tiny head.
Could it be he’s an
Avatar wannabe?
    Magic play
    may not be
    nature’s way.
    Hey, I like

Avatar

If I were that girl in the photograph
They glared, they stared you had to be there
A room filled with eyes
Was not a surprise
Talk of the town but look how time flies

Once More

He nearly jumped
from the cliff shrinking back to
the old avatar.

Crossing the dawn in
winter of life for a gift
of the autumn.

It never ends for-
the tears, which lighten up
the candle in dark.

There was once a guy named Roy
I met online from the city of Troy
     Avatar was smokin hot,
      Wanted to tie the knot.

Avatar's Love

There is a song I know
It's a poem in its own right
I cannot describe it to you
Without the melody sounding trite

I have no way to say it
But to you I implore
Listen to the Avatar's Love
And stay with me forevermore

I Want a Cool Name Like Yours

I want to change my avatar
And create a cool name like
W.W. II or Peaceful One
Maybe Sunset Smile or

Fear Heart
I need a change
Bobby needs to
Get in the game

But then my mother gave me this gift
Why change my given name

A LASTING BEAT

A LASTING BEAT

In life, there’s a rhythm one can feel
The constant beat, a chain of islands
The time signature is almost an avatar
Until a last long note in that final bar
That hands the baton over to silence
But a performance that is always real

Avatar the Word Bender

The avatar is what you are
the healer and the pain
the rolling thunder of your choice
invokes the wind and rain
  stand up,stand out,
from every crowd!
  Explode your power
write outloud.
  This silence will not
be allowed
  Enchantment rolls again.

Premium Member Breaking Up With You

Our relationship has become quite hostile
Yet you ride by on your unicorn and smile
There's only one thing left to do
And that is to break up with you
Your smiles now turn to tears
As you gallop through the stars
Soon you'll disappear
Leaving just your avatar

The Race - Avatar

my avatar as you can see
are horses racing to victory
just as my poems try their best
in the winning list of contests

I painted this awhile ago
when turmoil battered my ego
am still trying to reach my goal
writing always with heart and soul.

There is a poets avatar
Here on Poetry Soup
That l just adore
As it's such a “hoot hoot!”

Each time l see it
Without fail it makes me smile
With its peekaboo look
Such a cute inquisitive style

The sweetest face
That would never scowl
It just tugs at my heart

My Poetic Avatar

A bard is like a bird,
A violet starling,
He sings out every word,
Is everyone's darling;

My favourite colour
Is that of royalty,
I chose it, no wonder,
To show my loyalty;

A violet starling,
My poet's avatar,
He's in PS singing
All that I wish to share.
