He gently touched his cheek to hers…
at a time when sadness interrupted their nights
and spread throughout their days…
and the moment their tears blended into one…
as if by magic…
so did they.

Premium Member Little Boy Goblin Deep In the Woods

Little boy goblin living deep in the woods so happy and gay.
I like to think of you when I crunch the leaves every which way.
Sometimes you appear as if by magic and it is so keen to see….
The way you are lively and fun like a friendly goblin can be.

as if by magic,
 night transforms to wonderland.
 stars fallen from sky;
 fireflies swarm by the thousands.
children chase with eyes, transfixed.

Premium Member A Super Highway In My Front Yard

I have a superhighway in my front yard.
It appeared in the night.
As if by magic.
Ants are traveling along it
Whistling a tune I think it is a Maroon 5 song
But I am not sure
Some say I should get rid of it.
I am fascinated by it a superhighways
Begun with one giant wad
Of pink gum.
Ant traveled

10 Seconds After the Mental Storm

There was not a break in the clouds,
there was no sky, there was no hope.
the lowest region and the darkest.
the farthest from the sky.

But then...As if by magic,
On a fine sunny day, all the rats left the ship.
It was like a windfall, like a godsend,
like an unexpected piece of hope.

Just 10 Seconds after the M.S.

Shakespeare In the Park

In the city, in the dark,
Shakespeare thrives in Central Park.
Tix are given out for free,
By lining up or lottery.

Noises sometimes interfere
But all your problems disappear
When roles, comedic and/or tragic,
Are performed as if by magic.

Every time I get to go
I marvel at my luck, although
The opportunity is there
For all with time and pluck to spare.

I'm compelled to view some media, such as,
FAUX NEWS, like an illusion they portrayed.
Since their deception is masterfully crafted,
With multiple diversions . . . & truth is belayed.

As if by magic, they've given an audience,
Tasty morsels of manna, to satisfy heartache.
While they coddle and cradle those of privilege,
And true by definition, it's all FAKE!

Although I'Ve Gotten a Bit Wiser

Although I've Gotten a Bit Wiser

There is of course the ruin of the old,
when the dead pass through them
like dreams or shadows, darkly
and without purpose-

drinking wine and prune juice they
forget the dead in a hideous chair
outside the GS supermarket.

How do I forget the dead?

How do I forget myself?

... and then, as if by magic,
reason prevails...

although, I've gotten a Budweiser.

From My Academic Memory

’twas
 an
 exam.
 It took me
 more than six days
 to set the paper.
 On the eve of exam,
 the softcopy was missing:
 Disappeared from my computer!

 And
 no
 time to
 set another
 question paper.
 A computer fault?
Or was it some foul play?
Panicked, I rang up my son,
 who sorted it out rapidly.
 He told me to download a program;
from his end started recovering file.
As if by magic, the doc slowly surfaced.
Thank God. And I could see in my son an angel!
