Shakespeare In the Park

In the city, in the dark, Shakespeare thrives in Central Park. Tix are given out for free, By lining up or lottery. Noises sometimes interfere But all your problems disappear When roles, comedic and/or tragic, Are performed as if by magic. Every time I get to go I marvel at my luck, although The opportunity is there For all with time and pluck to spare.

Nothing better in theater -- nothing -- than Shakespeare (if done well) in the park. A true delight! Thanks for sharing. :) gw
