War you paste 
armistice in the 
heart of men

wages with 
blood;
and   editing 
fear from the 
recruit

with 
sophisticated 
weapons....

We must face a crisis that is of our making

Remember greed is a hunger we can't feed

Porridge of hopeful phrases
In several dishes of religion
Their sweetness cures no hunger
Only an after-earth nutrient
Forsakes us in a world of famine....

Offering triage to the fatality
