Whirling, twirling, fluttering down.
Little squirrel, tail aquiver
Searches on the frosty ground.
In the sky the birds are calling
Flying south to find the sun,
In the earth the seeds are buried
Sleeping ‘til the winter’s done....

My search ends fruitless as hell
Over oceans and mountains I search
Swollen Lakes and intimate rivers I see
I retire in vain, alone and aquiver
Alas what I look for is unclear
I search all over for this yearning I feel
O what uncertainty I know not what I seek...

When their world fuses
With the spirit of the universe
Their bodies locked in close communion
Aquiver with the tingle
Of every kiss and caress
Responding eagerly ,yielding 
Surrendering fully
To the mounting  passion of their intimacy

Aligning them momentarily, 
Every element of their being fully electric,
With the spirit of the world...

Who wants to grow old?
Shivering alone, in the cold,
Beneath an old oak tree?
Not my bag of tea.
Refusing to age, so ungracefully,

Don shoes, gold,with straps,
A beautiful magenta dress, perhaps?
Sparkling jade necklaces that glitter.
Auburn tresses that equally shimmer.
Setting a man's soul...aquiver!

A beating drum sends the pines aquiver,
Your heart- a compass- my guide.
It leads me afar in need to deliver,
The joining of love as your bride.

In the echoes, once met, your pace will quicken,
As it consumes my ears and mind.

holding fast to truth so keen
ever circling hawk or shark
in instinct driven tunnel vision
world of red surrounding white
berserker rage surrendered flight
Thus the other side of Never
thunders blood in pounding ears
A sight to see to startle shiver
cause of swift unfounded fears
racial memory of steel
swinging to the  piping screel
violent keening silent screaming
hairs all tall in taut attention
back aquiver with delight
so we dance into the night...
