A Charmer

My arms are long,
A chest so out
Legs so short
Could win a broad.

A head so heavy,
A brain so big.
Ideas so bright,
Could think bests!

The skin so dark,
The smile so appetizing.
The voice so pleasing,
Could win innocence!

I am a dwarf,
Oh yeah a charmer!

The Appetizing Box

                   The Appetizing Box

               A box can be rectangular.
               Not round but so angular.
Ones I like smell so good.
               Pizza,in my neighborhood.

Come Back

*****Come Back*****
Magic words feed the poets.
My words live in your innocent eyes
You left, now I'm a dreamer
It's only there, I can feed myself
Your lips are my appetizing juice
Your smile is the vitamin of my heart
I miss your sweet warm caress on my body
Please Baby, come back

my nose leads the way

New Orleans French quarter bakeries
feature luxurious flavorsome bene’s
palatable pumpkin pies, exquisitely decorated cookies
aromatic meaty soups, nectarous scones, rich dipping sauces
appetizing cobblers, and cream puffs larger than clouds.
My nose lead the way after I found the brochure
I was not disappointed

Waiting On You

No matter the occasion we serve memories remembered we are not, lest we fail our appetizing attitudes are often remedies No matter the occasion we serve memories appeasing, tolerating all for the treasury hot plates, hot tempers, our cooler heads prevail No matter the occasion we serve memories remembered we are not, lest we fail

Consume Me

Mesmerizing beauty
like a moth to a flame.
Land of milk and honey,
how'd you know my name.

Hypnotizing motion,
spider in her web,
Treasure hunter’s bounty
as you lay on your bed.

Appetizing banquet,
lioness to gorge,
valleys, dunes and mountains,
an eternity to forge.

Tantalizing tremors,
an eagle soaring high,
supernova, ecstasy
forever ‘til we die.

Delightful

pie delightful, delectable appealing, appetizing, appeasing sweetness, sugariness, acidity, acerbity retching, regorging, regurgitating brackish, brinish fly
NB: This is purely my own reaction to eating flies. I understand it’s quite the delicacy to some. To each his own ... :) 14 January 2023 Delightful Diamante Poetry Contest Sponsored by Caren Krutsinger

Savory Flavors

Savory flavors

Tasting love,
sating a hungered palate
delicious desires served hot
Licked lips
of savory flavors
drenching me,
dripping from my chin
satisfying a desperate appetite

Sticky fingers
grasping delectable morsels
sans silverware
between sautéed folds
tempting the tongue
Nectarous juices flow
in appetizing moans
as desert comes

And who says you shouldn’t
play with your food

The Kitchener Anthem

Arise o! Kitchen pot
My stomach calls to bay.
To serve my stomach right
With appetizing gaze I pray.
The labour of my market-thing
Shall never be invaded
With poisonous outing.
One kitchen bound with foodstuff.
I prepare to massacre.

Arise o! Cooking burner.
Fight thee against food villains.
My vessels should thy saliver nourish.
My body shall thy reception flourish
Always be there for me.
For my food lusts satisfied.

To My Beloved From the City of Luck

Being my honeycup and dish
A delicacy from an inn lavish
Thou are such a fine female
Of thy supreme ‘mole’ male
Serving so sweet secretions
In our suite in successions
During our oral rendezvous
We involve in mutual woos
Ever appetizing is the flavor
Of thy honey with no color
Ever yearning to dive deep
Into the clutch only to sip
Between thy thighs I find
A solace when we entwine
An awesome hutch solid
Where we compete rapid..!!

Why We Eat

Starve that living one;
And then see, the dead cells failing to reform,
Bringing weaknesses;
Slowly stealing it out of breath:
Save that brute by an offer of a drink;
There, the lungs and the veins being weakened and
shrunken,
Getting the living troubled by rage;
Desiring anything appetizing and edible:
Serve the living one with food,
Then, study carefully the change,
As the living hurriedly rules and devours the virtual
as any brute could.

Appetizing Words

Taste the words,
so does the poet...

when the appetite
comes, no one to
temptation resists...

how to resist
fruit words tasty,
sweets... to poems
salty, verses
substantial...

opiparous dinner
of special words,
festive entries from
delicious poems...

soft desserts,
rhyming treats
agreeable...

taste words
to satisfy the hunger
 for letters...

the appetite for words
varies, but all
 poets must
eat to powerfully
survive...!

Poetry Dinner

Appetizing,
appreciating words,
so does the poet ...
When appetite
comes, no one to
temptation resists ...
How to resist
words of sweet fruits ...
... to poems
savory verses
   substantial ...
sumptuous dinner
of special words,
festive entries from
delicious poetry ...
Soft desserts,
succulent rhymes
 so agreeable...
Tasting words
to quench hunger
of letters ...
The appetite for words
varies but all that
 poets must
eat to be able
 to survive ... and write!

Chocolate Delight

Chocolate Delight, what a sight.
I’m ecstatic to see it on my plate.
It is truly the most appetizing
dessert which I have had of late.

Four layers in all, butter, sugar, pecans,
mixed into flour to form a crust.
Cream cheese, confectioners sugar,
chocolate pudding is a must.

In a culinary delight nine by twelve,
mixed a certain way to layer heaven.
Topped generously with whipped cream.
Compliments come beyond reason.

The Misery You Crave

The Misery You Crave
My dying day
The misery you crave
Run with me
The world is ending
Bleed with me
A storm is brewing
Stay with me until the end
The night is appetizing
Who knows if we have tomorrow
Embrace the darkness
Don’t leave me crawling alone
Never let go
Rise above the ashes
This dying die is ours
Buildings are burning all around
We are unforgiven
Candles are burning for us
I am the misery you crave
The sky is falling,
Only memories remain
