Thin lips

Small hands
Soft touch

Deep look
Inside my eyes

You make my life?

At least you try...

Sweet Annabelle
There was a woman named Annabelle
They say she’s a bit of an animal
Men said what ‘s the palaver
She’s no different to any other
They didn’t know she was a cannibal...

Lulubelle and Annabelle hats in hand
Found a magic fantasy fairyland
Wearing their fancy knickers
And matching party slippers
Frolicked unaware of nearby quicksand

Young Happy Annabelle
Bright red scarlet Tulips for Annabelle

A kiss of natures art

a sweet smile of her elegant's

eyes with feelings

such beauty that sings to ones heart

flowering our soul with such bright delights

you are a lady that is so sweet with kindness

you leave such lovely sweet memories behind....

LOVABLE ANNABELLE

shadowplay like mist upon the glass
no rain today, radiant display
sun’s final hour touches my heart
it grows resplendent from the core
bedazzling specter of God’s grace
Annabelle’s been called home
full array of rainbow rays
upon the bridge - she’s come to life

Annabelle’s gone to doggie paradise...

No she wasn't very tall, no she never had to crawl
a winter day like this she didn't want to miss
so she lay there in the snow, as her little wings un-sewed

No she didn't hear the bell, as they called her, " Annabelle! "
for a little child of four , was playing right next door
so together they did play, until they flew away...

Introduced to Edgar Allen Poe, many and many years ago...
By a teacher who quoted to me; of his love for Annabelle Lee
How his bride died at an early age and left him sad and depraved
This resulted in his drinking to increase because he couldn't deal with grief
Consumption of much alcohol brought to him an early grave.

(Edgar Allen Poe, January 19, 1809 until 1849.)...

Young Annabelle Lee
went off to see
if she could find some posies
in her pretty dress,
hair in a mess,
and little pink bare toesies.
But every boy that she did meet
from Tom to Dick to Harry
(each and all potential grooms)
gave her a little flower treat.
So many boys, so many blooms
she found them hard to carry.
Back home she went,
embraced in scent

did Annabelle Lee;

now smiling with glee....

Anna Belle Anna Belle
Anna belle Annabelle
Why do you wail all the time
I just sent you out doors to play
You wailed so loud you, scared your friends away
All the birds stopped singing, and flew away
Will they come back another day
A dark cloud came out and covered the sun
Anna belle Anna bell what have you done...

Arrogant Annabelle

She looked in her mirror and
declared her self, "hot."
Poor soul, unaware that what
we do, impresses not a soul.
Naught!
Bobbing above all humanity,
Not one scintilla of humility.
She has it all in spades.
Other humans could never reach
her grade.
So in judgement, she stands.
Whilst standing on ever so shifting sands.
There's only one god in the universe.
To think we are Him is so pathetic and perverse!

By making the most successful leaders look small,
Do you really think that makes you smart and on
the ball?

Your ignorance, bright as a neon light on high.
All dullard insects come to you call, not very bright!

Mass media is an insect, too, drunk on profound lies
and purposeful deception.
Simply, not in search of truth, just to lie without any
conscience, to win the next election?

Good Grief!
Panagiota

Annabelle
All his ink wells ran dry
From uncertain thought
His nib dripping with ink from within,
The crimson script full of regret
From what has and has not been.

Grief stricken eyes
Nails turning to dust
Hair falling with every turn of the page,
He reeked of whiskey and the troubles it brought
The smell worsened as she started to age.

As the hour glass ticked
The months blew away
Times ocean began to swell
But not a soul came through at anytime
Looking for his sweet so sweet Annabelle....
