Peace In the Isthmus

kitten running too

Chapters of Life

When one chapter of your life is finished
You feel as if a part of you has diminished
You feel emptiness, sadness and pain
But after a while you are again happy and sane

Crimes Were To Pay

Crimes Were To Pay

What if crimes were to pay
And would do one everyday
After a while I had waited
Until they all accumulated
Sent to jail and there did stay.

Nasal Hair

The first sight

   of the first white hair

      in my nostril,

           at first jolting,

              after a while, softly sobering,

                 happily humbling!

Eating His Words

I heard
"Till death does us apart"
in a song,
And then, in a newspaper I read
the songwriter himself
did not wait that long,
I guess
after a while he got the point
that he was wrong

Dry Swimming Pool

Dry Swimming Pool

He learned how to play with a loose tool;
Suffered from much criticism and ridicule,
When he had lied,
After a while died,
Being fool who dove into dry swimming pool.

Happy Home Life

For a happy smiling child on my head
After a while I feel warm water bad
My baby son is heaven
Child is by born innocent
It's now happy home life of son and dad

Language You Speak

Language You Speak

What we all did was end up the creek,
When after a while we started to seek,
What we knew;
Your point of view,
And also language you do try to speak.

What is your primary language anyway?

Started To Reveal Horn Limerick

Started to Reveal Horn Limerick

After a while we shall start to reveal
That each witness may be material
And later on after much discussion
Trying to count each repercussion
We found a prize hiding in some cereal.

You Never Stay Long

The sun just rose and
The blossoms came and played in
The bare tree branches

Now after a while
All amber flowers are gone
You never stay long

The rapture remains
You'll return to embellish
My blues in boredom

Death of a Magpie

in the last evening
the ceiling fan was on running

came to my house a Magpie;
wings of the fan
oh cut its fly

my niece cried
I'm tried

but after a while,
my praying mat got
regrettable blood

In a contest between the stupid and the smart,
the stupid, at first, didn't really know where to start.
But after a while
of applying streetwise craftiness and guile,
in the contest between the stupid and the smart ~
the two were actually not that far apart.

Never Be Shy and Try To Testify

Never Be Shy and Try to Testify

Testify on MSNBC is all I do
seem to hear about now a days.

Of course you should never seem so shy,
And when you want to go ahead and try,
After a while,
A court trial,
To complete everything and can testify.

To My Surprise Did Realize

To My Surprise Did Realize

Some say that it was to my surprise,
After a while I would start to realize,
Often invited;
Was excited;
What I had won was a Pulitzer Prize.

Leaves During the Fall

Silent screams echoing throughout my soul,
turn to white noise after a while,
constructing impenetrable walls,
yet unable to crack a smile.
Happiness such a memory,
if it was ever attained at all,
lied to by heart and brain,
as the trust leaves during the fall.

To Hell In a Gurny

To Hell In A Gurny

We had been going on a long journey;
After a while we saw another attorney;
Same old song;
Done no wrong;
Was being wheeled to hell in a gurney.

Small Chirping Thing

Some small thing was chirping
behind the washing machine.

Go look I told her
is it a bird or a chipmunk?

“You go look!” She said.
I did not want to go.
I didn’t go.

After a while, the chirping stopped.
I didn’t do anything

This morning I watch TV.
Drink coffee,

Figure

Seen spontaneously
They are stuck in the shape
These two eyes
The mind became empty
After a while
The brain became frost
Immediately turned into fascination
Asking questions
Why such a figure?
Who was created?
Answer unanswered
Touching the shape
Yes
That's for me!!!!

Tats

With a tattoo of Dallas on one breast
She decided she wanted another
After a while she made a decision
To get a tattoo of Paris on the other!

A few weeks later at the Mardi gras
With no help from panels or committees
She decided to rip off her blouse
And show everybody her cities!

Doing everything for others is okay to a point
Enthusiasm will wane after a while
Learning to give yourself daily fun
Inspiring your soul to live her truth
Giving yourself permission to laugh and play
Helps you in the long run and brings joy
Take time to honor your talents and interests

Trump Became Hostile

Trump Became Hostile

Trump after a while became hostile
For no one would he go an extra mile
He likes women who are very radiant
Could care less if he has their consent
Yes he surely is both vane and vile.

In the Train

on the train to death
he met someone
next to
he's the one who can't kill me
had a book
he was starving
He exchanged bread and it
he ate the bread in an instant
He read and memorized the book
for a long time
after a while
will reach the place of death
and
Their destinies have changed also.

I met this cool dude called Jaffa At the beginning he was so sweet to me Sadly after a while he gave me the pip In the end he ran out of juice and I had to squash him Then I pulverised his flesh to a pulp Cheers! Contest: United Colours Orange Sponsored by Silent One 03~04~16

Where Are You

I miss the long walks,
And the special talks.
I miss your touch,
I miss you so much.
Where have you been?
I miss the masculine.
I miss the word
I always heard
“I Love You” is the phrase
Boy, do I miss those days.
And after a while,
I begin to compile
All the thoughts of you
Oh gosh, I need a tissue.
