Aegis
In this capricious
age of comings and goings
of the other side

I am blessed
for I can submerge into
your aegis, your undermind....

under aegis
I see the shadows following the darkness
hue fading under aegis
The last toppling of the wine
I see the glances in their rain
whose faces that can touch their reflection

Abundance
When you enter a certain age
your opinions don't count
In the West age does not carry consideration
for the aegis of youth prevails
with your Tik Tok and Instagram
instant accords of the febrile mind...

The Singer
The Peacock Punks
bide their time
in New York's finery
Their aegis ,Betty Davis eyes
follows them in no uncertain terms
The day is engrossed with snowflakes
There is serenity in the air
as the chanteuse
forgets her words
I sensed the silence
as a solitary butterfly flew past
I longed for my reward...

Angels
Angels! ! !
Pristine they are,
Angels are our aegis.
Angels are our confidants,
Confidants who know what we want!
Angels are sidekicks!

Angels! ! !
Legends they are,
Who work around the clock?
I prefer calling them enthusiasts.
Angels are our seekers.

Angels! ! !
Heroes they are,
In tragedy, angels consume us to keep heart and have hope!
Angels are victors!
Angels are noble!
Let's accolade angels.

A Knight's Hunt
A magic knight coursing on in brilliance

On lean hack in clanging, cleaving aegis,

Crunching incantation-dark, blunt, and grunt.

So light illumines his cold, whiskered phiz

And it predates the warrior in night hunt.

Chase is stashed by shade then stir lulls to prance

When periphery is gorged by a mist.

Pitches of bolts burst ahead ere a miss.

Startle angers his shield of sparks in haste;

Shots hotfoot through with explosions, vanish....

Evocation
O sweetest Euphrosyne
Fair as the dawning eastern gleam
Descending as vestal dew drops
To rouse to life the sleepy marigolds
For thee yearns my heart!

O beloved Muse
Of nature, the heavens and the waters
Just when the bud is blossomed
Fly my heart like pollen
In thy wind garment of sentiments;

O Ares, my vim and vigor,
Be thou my Instigator to conquer
The seven ancient worlds
And again recompose their wonders
With my aesthetic sword and aegis!...

Iris
Departure,
You farewell exodus;
And deter
You dashing aegis
For through the night,
You rest ageless,
And upon the light,
You mourn sage less.

Portentous
Is the prowess,
And act less
Is the iris –

For the sound of sight
Turns and thus,
Is the crown of fright
Mind and trust.

The iris is the kingdom,
Wisdom of welcome
Precious and seldom,
The hunter of fathom.

For it is sight,
And welcome night
Keeper of light –
The wonder invite....

A Knight's Parody
A magic knight coursing on in brilliance

On lean hack in clanging, cleaving aegis,

Crunching incantation-dark, blunt, and grunt.

So light illumines his cold, whiskered phiz

And it predates the warrior in night hunt.

Chase is stashed by shade then stir lulls to prance

When periphery is gorged by a mist.

Pitches of bolts burst ahead ere he cries.

His corpus recoils from cuffs in the breasts;

Wide-flat nose lights down to the ground; he dies....
