Giddyup

There was an ardent cowboy named Redd
Who wed a city girl beyond his spread.
They were a good match ’twas believed
Except she was acutely aggrieved
To discover that Redd wore spurs to bed.

Premium Member clunky chunky words

clunky chunky unfamiliar words
not easily understood due to their tweets and pops
shoving themselves against my dendrite highway
hidden yet acutely felt
dancing the brain Watusi
I wonder if I will ever write again

Catching

Alluringly avidly acutely animated
Blossoming beautifully barely belated
Cavorting colliding consciously collaborating
Desperately dreaming delicious delirium
Exhilirating enchanting enthusing enjoyment
Fascinating fantastic fabulous flair

Vain Is In

Vixen and voluptuous
Acutely aware of her good looks
Inspiring other to tan and diet
Narcissistically she has us hooked

Insane with the blonde locks
Sexy in the way she will always be

In spite of what is healthy
Neurotically vain is all I see

Solitude Saturates

Angst acutely augmented all crowding
Aligned to semisubmersible state
Safely seeking solitary succour
Propitious perfect proposal provokes
Reckoned rated Racoon River Retreat
Lay luxuriating lodge location
So surrounded, solitude saturates

The Finest Vocalist

Her voice, so exquisitely beautiful, leaves everything else on Earth astounded,
It rendered my body motionless, yet my mind remained acutely focused on her radiant countenance.
Her melodious touch stirred my emotions, transforming my pain into sheer joy.

Spring Hopes Joyfulness

Joyful
The time of spring
The season comes widely
Beautifies all through the nature
Seen-unseen everything is beautiful
Peaceful love acutely lives fair
Glowing buds, green lively
Dressed everything

Premium Member THANKFUL FOR THE MATHEMATIC MYSTERIES OF SHARING

May we all be thankful and acutely aware
For two of life’s mathematic mysteries that take place when we share.

This first is a basic fact…which cannot be denied:
how happiness, when shared, is quickly multiplied

The second is a mystery that often catches us unprepared
how the weight of sorrow gets divided the moment it is shared

I Watch You Rise

In the golden rays of early morning
I watch you rise, kicking to the sky
Off to dazzle elsewhere
Exchanging notes in the distance

Acutely aware of my limitations
I watch you rise to the treetops
The feeder spinning, soon abandoned
The swelling buds soon to cover

Rest now and garner strength
After the long winter struggle
Ready for the gathering in
Hungry mouths to fill again

In the Mind of a Genius

Writing Articles
My pen is a particle,
neutrons are equivalent
to the force in my pen
Like the forces of Zen,
well magnified by ten,
my thoughts within
leave a definite grin
on the faces of kin

I graduated
from dead streets
annihilated
anticipated greatly,
Lucifer obliterated,
dissipated absolutely
college boys manipulated
black men in America
acutely disintegrated,
job site largely
discriminated.

We conveyed a constant view of the world. That was not the correct way to bear it. Yet, just in the manner in which we desired. Through glasses that are red. Our fellowship grew and thrived. Our bodies and brains are intrinsically tied. Those who are acutely attuned to one another. Notwithstanding any hardship, we prevailed. All of this has vanished instantly. That is, in fact, your case.

Be My Lord

Now that my Spirit is clean
And awaits' your Salvation
Acutely from afar
For evidentiary cessation
Among everything
Gentile is what we are
Let this be a corner stone
For a new relation for which
I can call upon my own
Inclination,
With a confirmation for my
Restoration
And a remedy for my Soul
In-order that I may become
More regent among man
And
To become more sacrosanct
With-in the hands' of the Lord
AMEN

My Girl

In your presence acutely tuned,
senses heightened, I'm lost in you.

Warm sensations wash over me,
in brilliant colors, its ecstasy.

Thoughts are clouded, can't really see,
no else does matter, just you with me.

My world is spinning, can't stop this ride,
expose emotions, I cannot hide.

Love is blind, or so they say,
but what I see is clear as day.

True love, a search, some lifetimes spent,
my heart concludes you're heaven sent.

My Mortality

I wonder if I’m the only one who smells the fetidness of dead daylilies, carrion that lies concealed off the beaten path. Could it be my preoccupation with death lately? Reviewing my will, perusing my prepaid funeral expenses and life insurance, that have acutely enhanced my sense of smell for the morbidities of death. It’s not a pleasant state of mind to live with and act unconcerned concerning the inevitable conqueror worm.

The Silence

I walk lonely
wander on silent mind

my path begets
the path of pensive

in silence
I talk with myself acutely

minutely I kiss
my taciturnity, smiling, speech

the silence
is the rhythm of my heart

the silence
is the true music of my imagination

the silence
is the pure meditation of my love

For the silence
I seek you into my depth slept words

o yes
the silence
becomes the voice, tone, tune of soul companion

Premium Member I Don'T Know

I don't know where I am going...
I have hopes; but sure as heck
know where I ain't...I have sense.

Have become acutely aware of the many shades of
different colors the soul imparts upon its primed canvases
of mind and heart, blocking in much of what we hear and see
ahead of time, predetermining many of my assumed personal
strokes, my often delusional self presents as fresh and original –

maybe such realization...a true first step toward
actual emancipation....
