I Don'T Know

I don't know where I am going...
I have hopes; but sure as heck
know where I ain't...I have sense.

Have become acutely aware of the many shades of
different colors the soul imparts upon its primed canvases
of mind and heart, blocking in much of what we hear and see
ahead of time, predetermining many of my assumed personal
strokes, my often delusional self presents as fresh and original –

maybe such realization...a true first step toward
actual emancipation....

Joe, hmmm, giving this mny readings. It is such a quenching experience. Was stumped by last line, tho…your words set me to read “from” emaciation, “toward” that is setting me to lots of thinking for which I do thank you. Could be lots about humility… hmmm. Hugs, dear Joe!

Ha ha ha ha! -- I can see where it would be confusing. I am such a dummy...old mind and eyes playing tricks on me. I need a spell check that knows what I mean and not what I click. Thank you, Sally. Should have been emancipation. Blessings my friend!

Prince...for me, each day has a new lesson.Sometimes I do not like the lesson. But they all shape me, as if I were a piece of sculpture. Life is about learning. Thank you for sharing your soul-discoveries with us. Hugs Pangie Blessings to your Princess

Hi Pangie; good points. I agree. You know me, a lot of what I say, write about, is introspection...I would not begin to suggest anything for others, that I have not already thoroughly examined within myself often confronted in the real world. I am no book-learned philosopher. Thank you my friend. Hope you are having a pleasant Sunday. Blessings.
