Not Feeling Tracey's Badger
Went to the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy today. Really inspiring. However...(sorry, Tracey, you win some, you lose some)

I liked Tracey Emin's bed

Was partial to the tent thing, too

But what's with the badger?

Is it dead?

And isn't that owl

Too s**t for the loo?

Aimlessness-06
Not in nursery; in standard class one I got admission there
With elder brother I went to school till standard class three
For loquacious mockery I was beaten punitively by a teacher
After a week in fever when went there I felt fear of study
And in nineteen ninety five I changed to Islamic academy

An Oscar For Your Thoughts
It’s almost time for the Academy Awards.
Theaters are showing their best movies
and someone I know wants to go.

I used to pay 15 cents to see Roy Rogers
in black and white cowboy up on Trigger.
Today with popcorn, candy and a drink

it costs 20 bucks almost, just for me,
to see violence in brilliant color.
Six teens laugh a row ahead of me.

Actress Acrostic
Academy award winner with all the skills to boot.
Clearly born to play the part in every photo shoot.
The best dressed on the red carpet from sexy head to toe.
Relates so well to every role in life and in the show.
Even if she falls on stage she still gets wild applause.
She makes it all look like real life in every thing she does.
So sad that she ended up dead without a vital cause....

Outdoor Academy
We decided one day to explore an unknown
Outside weeded playgrounds we'd outgrown

Wearing shorts, no shoes, shirts of cotton
We ventured forward to childhood forgotten

We babbled along by the brook. We hurried
Through orchard grass, running past herds

True abandon. We found God's saving graces
Uttered ours, ate apples, washed our faces

Laying under the spreading evergreen tree
With just smiles, for a while we were free...

Premium Member Forgotten Star
In her days of glory she was a Movie Star
A symbol of beauty, even from afar
Winning a couple of Academy Awards
Her fame and fortune were in the Cards

But the years had crept upon her face
Now wrinkled by time's inevitable embrace
She had gotten weak and could not stand
Without being given a helping hand

Now she's tucked away in some obscure place
Faded are her beauty and grace
Her memories now are often scarred
She had now become a forgotten Star...

Mzuzu Academy
All started small
But soon began to grow
Our academics and sports
Shaped us all

All started small
But soon began to flow
Our peace and unity
Shaped us all

All started small
But soon began to score
Our soccer team
Shaped us all

All started small
But soon began to show
Our volleyball championship
Shaped us all

All started small
But soon on the go
Our new realized athlete
Shaped us all

All stated small
But soon approach its goal
Our Cambridge results
Shaped us all....

To Gerry
What I remember is his smile
That was never far from his dial
When we were young he was there
Our Course 47 for three years of Academy fair

Each one of us would have a tale
Of Gerry’s pranks that would never fail
But time marches on for all of us
And he would not want for me to fuss

The things that I remember now
Are his love of family and his father’s know how
And the one thing I am glad of most
Is to call Gerry a good friend as my proud boast.

Contiguious With Being Ambiguious
Contiguious With Being Ambiguiou

While our car swerves and swerves,
You always like looking at my curves,
And when the wind had many gusts;
Kept blowing on my beautiful busts.

When my many poems I did compile,
None of them were ever worthwhile;
And even when I went to an academy,
I had flunked a course in anatomy.

When you see my poetry's framework,
You know it was written by a big jerk,
And could be considered contiguious;
Mine were really already ambiguious.

The Academy
I was thinking today about what it meant
To be one of us together in the years we spent
For three years at the Academy by the sea
Living in through the week away from our families

Being together it created a bond
One that lasts through the years beyond
We band of brothers once stood together
That helped us in those times we weathered

So the years have turned their way
Those days are our yesterdays
And in our older times
Those days will always rhythm.
