So if in wanting
You I changed
My path
No regrets
Just facts
If its you
And going back
To jail
Ill stay single
No big deal
Epigram #94:
ZEST
Style zest as default poise
A smile speaks a sure choice

Ann Wilson, know
when you pass away, I will weep
not for your soul, which your love will carry to the stars,
but for the love the world will be missing!
Be a lovely flame
Sparkle makes the earth to spin
For pain, loss and death

My sister is 91 years old, her husband is 94
Owe their long life to golf and so much more
Fresh air and stuff
Walking is a must
A healthy way of living and happiness at their core
but the tracks
lie still on the qround
survive?
eat the tanqy fruits of life
and eat well
war? i know of it
94 years and i couldn't ask for more
i pray you chase after promises
behind the arisen dawn
George Bernard Shaw,
A critic with a vein of comedy and language, quite raw;
He wrote in a movable shack, he liked photography now and then,
Ladies man, died at 94, cremated and planted in his garden.
My sister is 91, my brother-in-law is 94
Because of his asthma, my sister was warned before
His life may be short
Advice Dad did impart
Here they are both over 90, heading to 100 or more

full of flowering foliage
strong scent of perfume

peeking out of the branches

divulging those of omission

Tears come when our torn heart
tells through watery eyes
tales of heartache brought by
talks of others or thoughts
that are negative and
tend to end when we stop
them with positive thoughts.

so quiet
is
this love
how
to
tell...
and
yet
something
has
changed me..
is this love:
How
will
we
know
how
to tell..
so
quiet
now

Dear Sacred Heart of Jesus,
You are my Hope. In You I trust.
You are the Light of my day,
my Comfort in the night,
the Counselor of my heart,
the Strength of my will,
the Salvation of my soul.
Please, hear my prayers,
and make my heart like yours. Amen.

It is 94 degrees and mostly sunny
Though my skin is like smouldering burned cookies
After the fire department sprayed water on top
Time is now for my personal heat
Others are cool and calm while I melt into my seat
Hide the scissors cause I feel like cutting off my hair
Winter is for me this season
Maybe I'll move to Greenland.
I am sure Interstate 94 is on that map!
My husband is getting impatient now.
I have been telling him for an hour.
I am not good at reading maps.
He is finally paying attention.
“It is NOT ON HERE!” I yell.
He finally pulls off at an exit.
“This is an Indiana map! We are in Michigan!”
That would explain my confusion for the last hour.
Oh for a taste of rhubarb pie!
Home picked, home baked--
Mouth watering, I don’t lie.
A tart and sweet delicious delight;
Tingles, mingles with the tongue.
Mom always cooked it just right!
Some might let theirs go to waste,
But I’ll eat their piece without delay,
I just love that capricious taste!
Note* I haven’t had a piece of Rhubarb pie
since my dear mom died in ‘94
Full Moon on Summer Solstice
By Franklin Price

Full moon on Summer Solstice
For this year is a delight
The full moon will be shining
Extending longest day to night
Full moon and sun both visible
At the same time in the sky
Try your best today to see them
Likely not a chance another try
Rare indeed this happening
The next a life away
Won't be again 'til '94
Full moon and longest day
Let’s do the orangutan dance, she suggested.
Several of them took off, wiggling and jiggling.
Sounds great! I agreed, trying to get in the middle of them.
They kept squeezing me out though.
“Come here,” said the instructor. “I will show you again.”
The director of the movie yelled “Take 94, get rid of that one!”
Rude I know, but this was my ninety-fourth try.
The orangutans always out-classed and out-danced me.
I just wanted to thank everyone for including me on the newest best poems/poets this time
I was 94 with this poem:

It makes me feel really good knowing I can create words that mean so much or touch others hearts.
I hope everyone is doing well and staying warm. Its been BBBBRRRR out.
Have a great day and keep on writing
Hugs

We drink wine and
listen to 50s and 60s CDs.
We talk and dissolve
in laughter over nothing.
We refill our wine, dance
barefoot in the kitchen
and hold each other close.
We kiss. It’s tentative,
tender, questioning at first,
but it grows on us
and we get lost in it.
Who ever knew one
could feel this way at 94?
Sweeter now in the
passing of time than
in the heat of youth,
and more breath-taking
than could be imagined.
COPLA 94 INVOCATION : This Bad Guy World
Can the State be arraigned by the State
And condemn and imprison itself :
Whose is the blame
Do many Bad Guys make Bad Guy State
Or does one the other way round delve
To reveal game
Tyrannosaur states auto-absolve
Themselves for the wrongs of bad guys :
Raison d’Etat
Yet selfish acts of Bad Guys resolve
Themselves into acts of the Wise :
Au nom d’Etat

As I stood in the doorway,
I thought my life a blissful grey.
All the feelings I possessed
dangling on display.
Gathered in one sentence
held tender in my hand.
I need a lover
a man.
Table was grey
waiter taking pay
Flowers were so pink
I could not think.
I just sood there
the music in my eyes,
No words to say
no lies.
To see if he would hold me
or flee.
To confess his love
or me mine
a time
in total grey.
