Sheet Of Paper Poems | Examples

Premium Member When we were young and the world was a blank sheet of paper

When we were young and the world was a blank sheet of paper,
the fields stretched green under the infinite blue sky,
each morning was a magic we were just beginning to discover,
our waking hours were an endless play under the sun.
We were overwhelmed by each new day, like an unexpected gift,
each moment brought us a universe of adventures and dreams,
so much to see, so much to do in the garden of time,
and our joy grew with every smile and every step.
We ran through fields, raced with the wind like two old friends,
bathed in rivers and let ourselves be carried by the currents of life,
we surrendered to each morning until dusk enveloped us,
trusting every day like an old and dear friend.
We discovered new pleasures, games, and laughter all day long,
when we were young and the world was a newly born dream,
each second a story, each glance a new adventure,
when we were young, and the universe was a song of beginnings.

Making Love To Each Sheet of Paper

Your words are soft and steady in my hand
running away through the dark ink in my pen
getting carried away
making love to each sheet of paper

Kissing corners of pages, curling corners of mouths
while by passers rejoice to see true young love
with passion and honesty as each letter is formed
making love to each sheet of paper

Shivers dance down my spine
passing through every inch of my body
as my pen begins caressing, gently
making love to each sheet of paper

The sound of your voice echoes purely
provoking a deeper act of love
as I pour out the contents of my soul, while
making love to each sheet of paper

I twisted with delight as my chest sunk and rose
at an increasing rate-
that unreal feeling you get, after
making love to each sheet of paper

What a Simple Sheet of Paper Can Hold

I write not sonnets or
fancy cues
I'm not really sure I even
know what's haiku but
when I write I write about
what to me is true...

On a simple sheet paper
my feeling sometimes
show.
Apprehensive to let others
be judge how much
or how little I know.

It keeps me busy serves
greatly to unwind like a
daily safety deposit box of
an unquiet mind.

Impressed as to all a simple
sheet of paper can hold
burdens sorrows memories
new and old but always
a story that wants to be told.

I take delight in reading what
others write because I find
we share the same burdens
and passion for life.
we've found a common ground
to reveal what withers without
paper, thoughts that transcend
space and time.....

A Blank Sheet of Paper

A Blank Sheet of Paper
A blank sheet of paper
lies on the table.
It's a reminder
of a life uncertain.
As I take a seat,
I can't find a thing to write.

A blank sheet of paper
appears in my notebook.
It's a reminder of what we once had.
As I look back,
I don't know what to write.

A blank sheet of paper
is placed in front of me.
It's a reminder
of what we soon will have.
As I think of you,
the paper will soon be filled.

A blank sheet of paper
sat on the table.
It was a reminder
of what we had together.
As I remember you,
I find plenty to write.

Blank Sheet of Paper

I'd do anything to obliterate you,
From my heart; from my side.
I don't want to care anymore.
So go away, just go away.
Ich liebe dich isn't yours anymore,
Leave my heart, runaway.
I am a danger to your life.
I'll eat your sanity, eat your heart.
I wish I could hate you, but you're my friend.
Friends are family; I'd never leave.
We just aren't going anywhere.
In a test, I'm the blanks.
You sit and think, but you just don't know,
Where we'll go; if we'll go.
I'm that blank sheet of paper,
Just write friends, just write friends...
