on a sizzling august afternoon
the glitter on the water scintillates
tapdancing on a hot griddle
till a cool breeze reaches the shore
and loosely sways the braids
of an old weeping willow
as if to a sweet nostalgic rhythm

Be Thou My Guide Through Stormy Days
Let Thy Inner Light Set Thy Wings Ablaze,
Through The Darkest Days, Shelter Thee & Fill Thee With Hope & Faith
Beyond The 9th Hour Where The Great Ideal Scintillates,
Liberate Thee By Grace & By Fire
And So, I Shall Spread These Wings Wider
Ever Higher, Let Thy Wisdom Rain
To Set Thy Soul Free & Liberate,
Show Me The Path When There Is No Way
And I Shall Shine As A Light Tower Upon Those Oceanic Waves,
Where The Joy Of Life Has Gone Astray
Strengthen Thee, So I Shall Seek Thee Through Thy Buddhic Rays,
Where All Is Eternal, Guide Thee As The Sun So High
Above The Darkness, Blessed Thee Thrice Bright

Frost has cracked the sky,
the air scintillates,
fragments and splinters of light
shred through layers
of any a softer luminescence.
Blue and white shrapnel
bounce off a shattered vibrancy.
A few autumnal leaf's slow burn,
they are last embers, a crumbling rust
whittles at thinning stems.
Singularly, they fall
sparking into invisibility.
This morning the air is not broken,
it is a fanfare of ice-pierced brightness.
it's a stained-glass window
as still, and as perfect
as a prism set within
a dragon's gleaming eye.

Step into splintered sunlight
broken beams flash
across bare, silhouetted flesh.
Above
Father-Sun forever scintillates,
a deep and ancient ember,
giving ceaselessly to all
wanting nothing in return.
The trees, they dance
in verdant splendor,
leaning lazily, they sigh
with utter contentment.
Their leaves, a chorus
of flapping green,
each one moving to its own rhythm,
closely listening to the wind sing.
White stars illuminate my eyes
and echo through my soul.
Vibrations shudder down my spine,
utterly with rapture so
cosmic and cyclopean,
spinning through the wheel-vortex
of my open amethyst crown.
And with sweet natural bliss, at last,
under holy bodhi tree of life --
copper-domed and ancient,
grown hoary and sere
through countless millennia --
my buddha-mind will yet arise,
through the heavens,
past the skies,
and slowly gaze
with wisdom eyes
upon the all-expansive Whole.
This worldly plane is just a school,
a dream where all is mind.
Be present, aware, and most of all,
compassionate and kind.
For everything in this world is one,
the Universe is inside us.
If pure of heart, we seek our truth,
the Universe shall guide us

Unto Zion I go to find my soul
Journeying through Heavenly Abodes,
where the Path is Electric like a Thunder Storm
and True Jerusalem Ascends Forth,
Ever-Upwards where the Sacred Resides
I AM The Sun So High,
past Six Gates Unto Paradise
to perceive with Gods eyes,
where Diadems are Prevalent and Luminous
and Divine Illuminance Scintillates it's Exuberance,
and Kings are Crowned by Wisdom
and Blessed are they by the Chrism,
and there I bear witness to the Higher Power
where Divine Dispensation Reigns, by Light Empowered
where a Trinity of Truth Gleams Supreme
and the Infinite Awe breathes in Sovereignty,
and the Hand Of God is touched by the Eternal Fire
There, I Free Solo Drift past the Bridge Of Quagmires,
and now..... I Walk Into The Valley Of Zion

The under urge of your undressed drama
delays the days of reckoning damage,
seeking to seethe longer
in the silence of a shuttered subconscious,
then, without waste
a sublimity of humming humility
enters your electric ego,
through eardrums of lavander longing
Himmalayan horns engulf your heart,
the sound of ancient new sublimation
scintillates on the soul's skin,
regeneration from renegade repression
unwraps itself lusterous and loving
upon the warmth of your teething truth,
the truth that beckons
for the beauty of your erupting integrity...

let go …
time bends here
I can’t promise you what is
without a realm …
the draw is gargantuan
and my will -
my synergy with your passion
is the light devoured
all that was … is …
could be …
scintillates the blackness as hope
oblivion’s mad mistress
our event horizon
a heart that throbs for coursing only
not for affection’s silly sins …
our gravity strangles
with the grasp of Heaven -
shreds our boundaries with intent …
there are no choices, ours
no options
not even abdication
the quantum pull asks nothing
yet answers everything
oh, if only
you, I … we
were such matter, dark
gone, the bounds of time -
beyond consequence
divine …
nebulous … celestial
and yet,
is that not …
love??

Halogen hesitant glide incubates baskers
Hush worship horizontal, roasting rascals
Trust flail arms gleeful face of jack in box
Toast salt pepper toes opposed to office socks
Lopsided sway scintillates sea rolls repeat
Lumen seduce dons haughty top-hat heat
Haven from seasons, sunbathed succumb
Hourglass conserve curdles cold’s equilibrium

Ascending dawn scintillates in golden sunrise
Enriching ambience of grinning crimson skies
As gentle winds propagate splendorous themes
Of budding prairies, of avid burbling streams,
Of fragrant revelry swaying blossoming trees,
Luring nectar-dreams of waltzing, buzzing bees.
Birds merrily frolic~ hopping, trilling carefree,
Inspecting, admiring, a season donning glee,
Warbling mid-air, choreographing playful zeal
Vying white blossoms of magnolia’s appeal,
Opulence of red tulips, distant lush foothills,
Gliding over exultantly dancing gold-daffodils.
Engrossed in resplendence, leisurely we stroll,
Embracing tender love smitten passions cajole,
Eying landscapes idyllic panoramic vistas scroll
From majestic mountain, vibrant grassy knoll~
Yearning earnestly euphonic ballad of spring
Reverberating melodies verses of hearts sing.

Pure as she is, sweet as she is
The beauteous Portia of my dream
With her anchor of roses
Conceived by her body of harmony.
The velvety of her skin I sink
Soft like fresh-ripe melon
Unsullied as perfect Swan
Which encapsulates beauty and love.
Adorned she in her customary apparel
The pride of Africa
She: the citadel of virtue
The Hyena of my land
African woman: her glorious symbol
With her countenance like a beam of light
Which scintillates my nights to bear.
I call her black woman, but pure black
My candle is ignited by her dulcet tales
I hail you, precious woman
The morning star of beauty
The Barnadeth of mankind.

The journey of one thousand miles,
Now beginning with a single leap
How many times should I persuade myself?
To shelve my worry, trim my furry
And just allow love?
What`s love other than being self-insufficient?
Other than reminiscing on how empty
One can be.
What`s love other than burning to be proficient?
Other than looking back at unbroken hefty
Stories that can’t be.
What`s love if you won’t find a mirror,
To look and behold your other self
Getting better and complete with the twilight
That scintillates from your other self?
What`s love if you don’t regret falling into one,
And getting your stand in a foreign kingdom,
Whose jurisdiction you’re to merge and be one,
And to her gaiety waft away boredom?
What`s love if you know you’ve met the real her,
That you dream atop clouds and heaven
That you see angel in her, goddess at par
That finally you can rest and in true love gladden
How will you talk about love,
Unless you’re ready to love?

It’s thunderstorm country around here.
They roam the boiling, hot, southern skies
on legs of lightning, like dark, angry trolls.
My Chinese roommate is impressed with them
because as menacing and mountainous and electrical
as they seem, through the trees whip and the rain
lashes - like special effects - no real damage is done.
Love is like that, a circus briefly coming to town,
that scintillates, palpitates, irritates or validates
- a carney-call with the urgency of a sale.
“Run away and join the show,” it whispers.
Love is both less than it seems and more than it is.

Spring's yearly revolution
Blooms in swathes of daffodils
Loveliness perfect solution
Glow enhances barren hills.
Blazing yellow captivates
Undulating springtime breeze
Clear bright sky scintillates
Vibrant vista ~ eye is pleased.
Beauty is balm for weary mind
Joyful flamboyance, elegant sway
Happiness blooms we are entwined
We drift together it's Daffodil Day.
