Scarfs Poems | Examples

We cannot blame nature for melancholy of the autumn

We cannot blame nature for melancholy of the autumn
Leaves falling down the ground
Decay to enrich the soil for feeds and the fertility of the forest

It's us isolated to our world of the human ignorance
Excluding needs of the world that food feeds us with love of the flavors and colors

And fantasy

Knitting is for grandmas

They knit colorful fluffy scarfs for us that say I love you
We wrap them around our necks and taking a pound dog for a day out heading to autumn forest

We smell wetness and comprehend processes of the nature

She teaches us this I need
I require

Dog strolling ahead and behind

Occasionally approaches us when we kneel near a interesting plant and touches our cheek with his wet nose

He makes a circle around us and signifies this is defended and safe

After a walk we return home and drinking hot beverage and eating kibble

We love when it rains this kind

this winter is bitter
with temperatures sub zero
and wild howling winds
snow gathering in drifts

snow my only view
bare trees creak, groan
squirrels run searching, searching
birds are hidden, silent

people dress like eskimos
skin can quickly freeze
hands and feet protected
wrapped in hats, scarfs

yet, some go skating
and some go skiing
me, I light fireplace
cuddling with my cat

Premium MemberMerry Winter

You can tell it's finally winter,
the glaze of icy glitter
Darker mornings, sun late dawning
Freezing cold and bitter

Woollen hats, chunky scarfs
slippery and sliding paths
children's runny noses
Red lips and looking chapped

A festive time
Happy elves and Santa's sack
He sees if you've been good or bad
I know that for a fact

Christmas crackers, candy canes
Songs are played and party games
winter is for all to enjoy
No matter what your age

A special season, I love so much and that will never change

Scarecrow

We saw a decorative scarecrow.
He was outside a grocery store.
We are feeling friendly as him.
This fall,
We choose candy corn.
Along with pumpkin pie.
We normally don’t care about those things.
We are sitting on the wooden bench that is covered in raindrops.
We eat donuts.
Fall remembers how to have fun.
By letting its leave die.
It’s foggy in the morning.
We subconsciously pull on sweaters and scarfs.
We become dull and the lights come on earlier at night.
We saw him.
The scarecrow.
He is out in the fields, this time.
Doing a job,
Smiling.
It will get dark early.
This fall.

Premium MemberIran, Every Womans Fight

They’re made to look identical,
hide all that is unique.
With scarfs and veils and clothes that mask,
their beautiful physique.
In laws of old religion,
no woman was born free.
Sometimes sold by fathers,
a financial commodity.

The more that females cry out,
the tighter the noose gets.
The more they try to break away,
the uglier the threats.
The males which hold the power,
fear they’ll be left alone.
Because they know that deep inside,
the women all have grown.

Grown from ancient customs
which keep them tethered to,
a lifetime lived in servitude,
each day told what to do.
To cook and clean like servants,
their worth to all the men.
Surrender themselves every day,
no matter how or when.

They want to have their freedom,
end old ways of the past.
Each one with their autonomy,
where their word is the last.
So they remove their headscarfs,
march in protest of their plight.
Their numbers keep on growing,
for it’s every woman’s fight.

Premium MemberWinter's Slumber

A time to chill like the frosted air
bundle up with hats and scarfs
While nature gives its animals fur and thick skin
Our fat we so not as well cherish
But that deep sleep like the bears
Comes when the house is so cool
What is it about icy chilly air
That sends me into a drool of slumber
The fresh scent of cool linen
Beneath my warm grandma quilts
It's inviting and hospitable
You want to linger in luxury
To cast away winter chores
like shoveling snow I rather
Warm my toes by the fire
melting marshmallows for smores
And nurse hot drinks
The flip side of summer
Is the warm fuzzy rituals
We create only in winter.

What Use Is Gloves To the Fingers

Oh my as my
fingers cry.
It frosty and cold
Why?
I need gloves
What's that you say?
The foot to the hand.
 Well it like socks
to the foot.
Gloves keep your
One two three
four five fingers warm.
Gloves come in all colors and sizes.
I think I understand
says the foot
to the hand.
We both have
jobs to do.
Protect even scarfs
around the neck.
Gloves makes my
hands happy .
They make my hands
want to clap.
Or when you
Calmly place
them in my lap.
Two gloves can
hold hands.
Gloves obey man
 Or women may wear
 gloves during there
 Wedding plans.
 Little kids fingers
are tender and soft.
 So gloves made
of cloth
Warm there hands
 a lot.
 Gloves know!
  Just like the
  socks does with
  our toes.

Winter Is Here

Winter has come! (The season for fun)
Sing with cheer to those near,
“Bring out the boots and tuques,
Parkas and scarfs, mitts and snowsuits,
And long underwear,
And other paraphernalia of gear.
Winter is here!”

Snowflakes appear, falling out of the sky,
Thicker by the minute, blotting out the light.
Slowly they fall, softly they allay,
Covering the ground in a white duvet.

Snow angels are made where children play,
And snow people smile with round about shapes.
Snowballs are flung at each other in glee
While pets bark and chase anything moving.

From atop the hill, children screams debut;
Amid flailing arms in air of frosty blue,
“Get out of the way, we’re coming through!”
As the hill’s bottom comes into view.

Premium MemberTurn On the Furnace

Don't turn on the furnace yet it's only early November
If we can make it lets wait till December
Wear some fussy socks for your feet
A woolen cap on your head as you sleep
Sweaters and scarfs and mittens too
Cuddling under a blanket for two
We got to do what we got to do
Dang the Inflation of twenty twenty two
We got to eat so use less heat
The price of gas has got us beat
Doing without and making do
Duck tape those old shoes
Last years fashion is good enough
For Christmas don't expect new stuff
A recycle gift from your closet will do
Since you never wore it it's new to you
Eating out just not happening
Home cooking thanks to crazy old kook Joe Biden
So when we gather like Whos for all to see
Around our missing Christmas tree
Who can we thank for our profound misery
All together from the young to the old
Let's go Brandon! we scream for our Inflation woes.

Premium MemberDecember

As a winter child I love December snowflakes,
cozy scarfs and mittens and snowy lovely scenes;
the smell of grandma cooking her Christmas fruitcakes,
oh, I love the fragile snow covering all the greens.

Autumn's Arrival

Leaves radiate vivid colors beautifying elms mesmerizing dubious eyes

Seized out of wooden closets woolen sweaters and scarfs would suffice

Warm breezes bade goodbye to an impending avalanche of glacial chill

Nights endure longer as stars paint panoramic scenes in silken vermeil

Stoking tinder in campfires country bumpkins imbibe whiskey and rum

Driver sporting Victorian gear embark on a horse and buggy tryout run

City dwellers undermine tourists upending stores plowing for a bargain

Autumn awaiting raindrops summon the skies to rain upon a mountain

Premium MemberWinter Wear So Cool

Jumpers
     darned with wool
Trousers
      patched for school
Shoes scuffed
          left unlaced
Teeth frame
      in metal brace
Dripping noses &
               chilblains
Scarfs &
   finger mitts
Ears muffled
             against the chill
Free school milk
       solid on the sill.

Premium MemberCrimson Waves

Time forgotten,
Crystal rain and tangerine skies
Two became one
Tender hands caressing her skin
Thrilling her softness

With promises of forever
Lovers love
And dreamers’ dream
Hearts beating in rhythm
As a new day rises

The time is gone
Acrid tears and caustic taunts
Calloused hands delivering relentless blows
His barren fury soars without aim
Abusing her marrow
More will soon follow

Time after time
Gossamer deceit hidden behind
Miserly glass and shabby scarfs
She conceals his rage
From those who gawk and wonder

They see the truth behind her disguise
Bumps and bruises
Swollen eyes
They know…
And they do
Nothing

Time is meaningless
A clandestine sanctuary bides knowingly
Surrounded by hues of chaos
Whispering sounds
Ceaseless disarray
Blind eyes
She enters
Crimson Waves

A journey into the realm of escape
Away from his hands
Cursed by abandoned caress
Fleeing the gawking eyes
And senseless queries

Never let him see you cry
She whispers to
No one

Touching the pain
He can’t find you here
Promise the endless waves

Harm is Harmless
Fear is Fearless
Life is Death
Let the Crimson Waves
Carry you away

Premium MemberValentine

red rose and chocolate are common place,
do no justice to someone with your grace,
pricey perfumes that are marketed to charm,
but smother the odours that in love form,
there are designer handbags, scarfs and shoes,
many pretty garments that one can choose,
but I know these will hold you no appeal,
for someone like you it is no big deal,
then how shall I profess my love, do say!
when stood at your door on Valentine’s day?
should I play you a song on violin?
or should I dance with you, your love to win?
perhaps a candle lit dinner for two?
so I can hold your hands and look at you!
I am love sick, lost, utterly confused!
I know you are not easily seduced,
so here is my love posted through your door,
filled with kisses!.... ask if need anymore!

Winter Sabbath

Shepherds to valley
songbirds south
skiers to mountains
students to
books and mouse
seeds in earth
mother bear in rocks
life protected
from slashing wind
and ice
in belly of earth
resting to give birth
to spring songs
and fruits
perpetuating
cycle.
Starless sky
opaque
in shawl of white
wrapping
roofs and roads
in silence of the night
snow stars falling
on bells and forest pines
glittering coats
and scarfs
hurrying to the Light
Jesus' flame of love
melting hearts of ice
blooming spring
in winter
in all receptive hearts
silence of Sabbath
finetuning hearts
pruning sin and sickness
for marvel of rebirth.
God is to heart
as sun to the earth
from cold of winter
death God will resurrect
