Cork, Ireland, here I come!
To give the Blarney Stone a kiss,
means I will be a more persuasive miss
I can hardly contain my joy, with my new blips
new flattery will gently flow from my lips.
I have always wanted the gift of gab.
It’ll be the best day when I meet the slab.
Blarney Castle, get ready to pucker up.
I am ready to change my luck and my cup.
Hold me upside down, let me give you a kiss.
I am going to Cork, hope I won't miss!

Today, wear a bit of green!
Be you a man, or a fun Colleen!
This is the day we are all Irish!
Go ahead, have fun....and.....
Above all ......be outlandish!

Hooray, hooray for Saint Patrick’s Day
Hubby took steps unaided today
It may be only two
But at last a break through
A shamrock for luck, we’re on our way.

Being part Irish I have to admit
that yes indeed, I celebrate it.
If truly the Irish are lucky you see,
I’ll have my green beer and sandwich of brie.
I’ll dress in me greens with a button or two
that says I am Irish, how about you?
I’ll get out me Bodhran and give it some beats;
then my tin whistle, I will play while folks eat.
I’ll have buttery shortbreads’ and other great treats;
and don me tapp’in shoes with their new cleats.
While the fiddler bows his old Irish tunes,
I may take a moment to have me a croon.
I’ll do me a jig or two, for good measure;
then politely say, thank’ye, ‘tis been a pleasure.
Me ancestors came from that dear Emerald Isle;
though they hated to leave, they did it with style.
Green is a color worn on Saint Patrick's day
If you wear green your lucky you won't get pinched
on this special day, everyone looks if you wear green.
This beloved holiday began in a country called Ireland.
Even a leprechaun wears green on this special day
Sometimes I ask myself why is this a special day.
Someone once told me its Saint Patrick's Day
Do you see someone who is wearing green on this lucky day?
Your shirt is green just like the grass.
Do you know what a clover stands for?
Your right it stands for luck on this special day.
Did you know that lucky charms have a leprechaun right in front of their cereal box?
Do you know why it has a leprechaun?
Your right he chases a rainbow
Many children love this delicious cereal.
It's my favorite, which one is yours?
Now that you know about Saint Patricks Day.

I had a strange and wonderful dream,
it was in a land all filled, with emerald green,
A bag-piper appeared, wearing an enormous ring,
he sang to me," I,ll take you to the Leprechaun King",
along a lush green and rainy terrain,
with grass as luscious, as golden grain,
A great green castle did we confront,
guarded by a big eared little runt,
He opened up the pearly gate, and admonished us for being late,
there was a great big hall, entertaining a giant feast,
when all went silent, both man and beast,
a figure appeared, why it was the King!,
and Oh! he was such a little thing,
All bowed as he stood up, and in a loud voice did say,
" The time has come, for all of us to pray."
" With joy to all and to none dismay,
I wish all Earthlings, a Happy St. Patrick's Day! "
